AOS November 2016 Filers

We filed with printed turbotax 1040ez and copies of w2's, same as with the i-134. When filing TurboTax it says "no signature is needed when filing online..."

My reasoning was actually that if this is signed after the fact it's not a copy of the return, since the original return was never signed. Since there was no problem with the evidence for i-134 I also assumed this was a correct reasoning. I have never seen anyone on VisaJourney get an RFE for this signature not being there. What I have seen is RFE's for the accompanying w2's.

My guess is we will both be fine, but I guess we will find out If an RFE were indeed to be given for this it will be a quick and easy fix so don't stress about it. Let's just update our fellow VJ'ers on how it turns out

When do you start seeing updates on the USCIS case status site? Our NOA1 was last week and the case status still can't find our numbers for AOS/EAD/AP It's the one with MSC.....right?

No the only update you receive is RFE, EAD/AP approval and interview notices.

Are you sure? I've seen people saying they got an update saying their biometrics appointment letter had been mailed. Or is that an update through email?

Hmm...you sure it's not "fingerprint fee has been accepted" that you've seen? I've seen some ppl call this "biometrics fee" which is not what it's called on the site though.

Yes I'm sure. You'll only receive the letter in the mail without any notification!

Received our RFE letter in the mail today and I am beyond livid.

It says that the sponsor does not meet the 125% poverty guidelines. UMMMMM hello I meet it by over 2x what is required.

It says to send in all tax documents, W2s, for the recent year. UMMMM hello I submitted the past 3 years tax transcripts, W2, and letter from employer.

It's one thing if I forgot something or didn't meet requirements. It's another when the adjudicator cannot read what is in front of them. Complete and utter waste of time, paper, and postage!

Right, IDK unless they got confused on my household size. I included 5 most recent pay stubs when I sent in the I-485. The RFE letter only asks for W2s and Tax returns. Should I send paystubs again?

The I-864 form download here won't let you type in those numbers, you have to handwrite them in....unless I forgot to do that. I was sure I did as I went over everything a few times before putting it in the mail. Ugh! Well it's back in the mail first thing tomorrow!

Yep... that happened to me toO. .. And I was a bit concerned about it since I was thinking it might not register it properly.. :/ I sure hope not
