OMG! I finally got NOA1 email. I'm so happy because I've been worrying for two weeks!

AOS:

2016-11-21 Filed AOS, AP, EAD

2016-12-19 NOA1 Hardcopy received

2017-03-09 EAD and AP approved

2017-09-15 Green card approved, interview waived

 

ROC:

2019-08-12 Filed ROC (one day shipping)

2019-08-13 Application received at Lewisville, TX

2019-08-16 Received case number

2019-11-13 Biometrics appointment (Lubbock, TX)

2020-05-14 Case approved, interview waived

Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

I have been applying for jobs. I decided to take a break since an HR manager told me that they couldn't go forward with my application as they only consider applicants who are already authorized to work/GC holders.

Anyone started applying to jobs? If yes, how is your application to interview ratio?

I didn't start applying yet because I was worried that would happen. I was thinking about applying once I got the notification that the EAD has been approved, so hopefully by the time it's mailed here I'll be going through interviews. Did you apply for many?

I'm playing Dark Souls II and III. Trying some new builds lol

Dark Souls games are really hard aren't they? I remember my old flatmate raging super hard over the first game xD

I'm making YouTube videos about my life in usa lol

Hey guys!

We sent my package on November 22 via ups express mail and it got there on November 25th.

They cashed our check on December 9th and last night (December 12th) I received 3 NOA1's. The first one at 11:28pm, the 2nd one at 11:46pm and the 3rd one at 11:52 pm. The text message and the email came in together at the same time.

We are soo relieved right now :) Buuut unfortunately its not over yet so many things can still happen.

To all the other November filers, Goodluck and always think positive!

Our check was cashed on Dec 7th, but never received any email or text.

Just got four letters from USCIS today, hardcopy of NOA1 for i765, i131, i480, and i130. USCIS receipt date Dec 7th.

I am waiting for my biometric appointment yet but I would like to know what document i have to take there, just in case I am missing one as I sent originals in my AOS packages.

And second question, can I go alone or it is required the usc wife goes with me?

You just need the appointment letter, ID and some ask for marriage license so bring that along. You can go alone. :)

One question: What are you all doing about health insurance coverage? The deadline is this week and we are ready to apply for joint coverage (soooo expensive!!) but I just wanted to see if anyone here is doing otherwise??

It is really expensive! I'm probably gonna get for me since my husband is covered by his parent's still... Do you know if one can just roll over from one to another if he gets another job for example (current doesn't offer for me)? Edited by Suss&Camm
