Yes, i had my interview 07/19/2017 in Baltimore, the interview lasted 20 min. The IO said doesn't need more evidence, he said everything looks good, and we should expect the decision in mail. The same day the status changed to interview was completed and the case is under review. Has been  2 months already the status hasn't changed,i put a service request and didn't get response.

I really don't understand why they have to do this to us :( 2 months wait ? Omg why

Have you tried infopass? That might help since the officer might be able to tell you the reason why the case is under review. Might be a new IO that doesn't have authority to make decision and needs a supervisor to sign off, or might be background check issue etc.

Anyways, keep us updated !

got an email today 9/18/2017 that may interview was scheduled for 10/24/2017. NY Fed Plaza field office. Waiting for official NOA. Also have to redo my medical since i did the initial one almost a year ago so it'll be 3 weeks expires on the interview date.

Did they state that in their email or are you just assuming that.  Usually as long as it was not expired at the time of filing you do not need another medical, unless AOS from B1/B2 is different.

it didn't state that  in the email or NOA. i just assumed i might get asked or RFEd after interview for an updated one. i also believe the gonorrhea  and updated forms were release after my medical exam date (9/30/2016). so i'm thinking about just doing another one to be on the safe side. i'd hate to do it and not being asked for it just as much as getting RFEd for it.

According to USCIS' website a medical that is done inside the US is valid for 1 year from the date of filing your application if you file within 1 year of your medical exam. That means your medical is valid until whatever date you filed for your AOS last year (November sometime) and not from the date of your medical.

If you arrived on a K-1 and had your medical done abroad it doesn't seem like the medical expires at all if you filed for AOS within 1 year from the date of the medical. I haven't been able to find a single thing on USCIS website that says an overseas medical for a K-1 visa expires after a certain date/time. However, some field office don't seem to know their own rules and RFE people even though they shouldn't.

Taking the gonorrhea test might be a good idea, they might ask for that.

So today was a bit of a weird day,

mostly because of craziness at work, but it definitely got weirder. Earlier this afternoon I randomly decided to check my USCIS app (which I hadn't done in awhile) on the extreme off-chance that I'd gotten an interview date and it just hasn't sent a notification. There wasn't anything new, obviously, but I also considered putting in a service request, which I've been thinking about a lot recently because I haven't heard anything since I called in July and was told I'd have to wait between service requests.

As I was heading out of work today, I saw I'd gotten multiple texts from the app saying that there'd been a status update. I'd also gotten an email saying the same thing. The update? New Card is Being Produced. I walked over to the car where my husband was waiting, got in, and started laughing because I was in shock. I still can't believe it, to be honest. Finally, after how difficult everything has been (including getting my driver's license, which just happened after a long struggle), they've decided we can skip the interview. The full impact of my relief hasn't even totally hit me yet, and I'm sure I won't fully believe it until I have the green card in hand.

I've seen a few people say recently that they've gotten the same update. Here's hoping a bunch more are going to be seeing the same thing soon!

Interview was this morning and we were approved on the spot :)

It was very straightforward, asked a couple of questions from the I485 plus a few others such as when did we meet, did my family come over for our wedding etc. We've moved house since we applied so asked to see a new lease and that was it!

We did have an attorney prepare the packet for us and he was extremely thorough which I think really helped.

Good luck to everyone else waiting - good news will soon come

Congrats to you! and everyone else getting approvals.

She got laid off 1 month ago,

We have a joint bank account where her and my salaries get deposited. I submitted statement from that bank account.

When we had filed for the AOS, my spouse had a job and we had submitted I864A that time, but at the time of interview, she didn't have a job (she is 9 month pregnant), so IO gave me a form to fill where I attached my bank statements too. IO said I can give USCIS even one bank statement or two paystubs from my Job. Remember I went to school here and had a job here in US before getting married so I am not sure if my case is similar to others

They won't agree to stamp your passport when you have a greencard coming your way.

You get a stamp in your passport as proof of your legal status in the country if you for some reason don't have a greencard.

For instance if your greencard gets lost you can get a stamp while waiting for your new greencard (it can take up to a year to replace your greencard), or if your greencard had some errors and you had to send it back you can get a stamp. So those who have a greencard or have a greencard coming their way won't get a stamp, they will just be told to wait until the physical greencard shows up. To get a stamp you need to provide USCIS with proof that you have a pending application (that you ordered a new card etc).

You get a stamp by making an infopass.
