Wichita Kansas
9:45 but got called at 10:15. Only ones in the waiting room, couple before us got separated but not us.
Very warm and welcoming lady swore us in, asked questions from the forms, names, address, SSn , and asked if we had additional proof. We have her
-jointly filed taxes
-lease
-credit card statement
-pictures

At the end she thanked us for organizing our paper work and being nice and polite. Recommended for approval, explained about the conditional green card and said we should get it in the mail in 30 days or less and that was it!!

Just checking in because I've been busy working (which is a good kind of busy!) and I've fallen behind on everyone's updates. Congratulations to everyone who's had a successful interview/gotten their green cards!

I actually called USCIS today because we still haven't heard anything about our interview. I'd submitted a service request sometime in May and mostly forgot about it because of my EAD coming in, but they finally got back to me via email on July 22nd. The email said something to the effect of "your case is taking longer than expected due to caseload issues, not problems with your case", but I had gotten a different response to a different service request in April saying to contact them if I didn't hear anything from my local field office within 90 days. Since it's been way longer than 90 days, I thought it would be a good idea to call just in case something weird had happened with the paperwork like it did with the EAD. As with most calls to USCIS, I got next to no help, and was only told that the email on the 22nd was the most up-to-date information they had, and that they can't start another service request until the end of August. I just checked the processing times for the Pittsburgh office and it says that they're processing cases as of December 5th. Since our paperwork was submitted on November 21st, I'm hoping the notice will come soon and I won't have to worry about opening another service request at all.

Long story short, we're still waiting. I just want my break from USCIS!

Had my interview yesterday. Got verbal approval and the paper that says "case recommended for approval " but my case tracker hasn't updated online. She said I'd receive the card within 30 days. Am I supposed to get an update on my email/phone?

Never mind y'all! Just got a text message with the card in production. The I-130 needs to be "reviewed" whatever that means. I'm so happy.
