The BEST feeling when it's mostly unexpected.

Hey how are you doing with the house stuff? Have you figured out why you didn't have the credit score yet?

I've been meaning to respond to you but I have like zero time during the day anymore as I'm a couple weeks behind on titles and the incoming files keep piling up (not complaining - real estate gets busy for 5-6 months and then dead again)

I've determined that Trans Union is reporting my credit, but Equifax is not.  I called creditors and Equifax and have concluded I need to wait about another 30 days or so there is some kind of a history to report, which is fine.  No big rush, but just trying to stay on top of it.

One of the lenders who sends me files is willing to work with us on manually underwriting a mortgage once I have a reportable score with Equifax.

Hey guys,

Just an update. We hadnt hear anything about the approval of I-131 and I-1765 until last week. Fianally, I got an INFOPASS. The officer told us that our application was WAY behind (no kidding?!) and that she would personally call to find out what was our status.  She called me the next day to say I should be getting my combo card in a month!

We also contacted our Congressman and his office confirmed that the approval of I-131 and I-765 was expedite.  So it there we go! WE got a real confirmation that both my work and travel authorization will be approve soon!

So, if you are still waiting, please get an INFOPASS or/and call your Congressman!!!

RFIEs will reset the time you've been waiting back to day 0 the moment they receive your response.

RFEs will pause the time you've waited until they receive a response, then time processing will resume from where it left off.

If you've had either of these on your EAD/AP applications, this would explain your guys' 150+ day wait, because it's not actually 150+ days anymore, and of course the longer you wait to respond, the longer it's going to take to process.

Now if you didn't have any RFEs/RFIEs and you're waiting 150+ days, then that's cause for concern. Cheers.

I only did the EAD, I'm not sure what RFEs/RFIEs  means...... I'm married to a disabled military vet would make very thing slowed down?

Request for evidence/request for initial evidence. If something was missing from your file they would've sent you a notice asking for it. I got a rfie for my I864, and got my ead and ap on time but I'm still waiting on my aos

2016-12-19 NOA1 Hardcopy received

2017-03-09 EAD and AP approved

2017-09-15 Green card approved, interview waived

ROC:

2019-08-12 Filed ROC (one day shipping)

2019-08-13 Application received at Lewisville, TX

2019-08-16 Received case number

2019-11-13 Biometrics appointment (Lubbock, TX)

2020-05-14 Case approved, interview waived

Oh ok. I didn't get any of that. I was reading earlier on in this thread that people application that are in the NBC office tend to wait a long time.

Our AOS has been "stuck" on Fingerprint Fee Received since November 16th.  We got the combo card in February and haven't heard anything.  It seems like a lot of you have gotten an interview or approved after our NOA2 date.  Is there anybody else still waiting from mid November for a status change?

Thanks!

You are not alone. My case is still "Fingerprint Fee Was Received" as November 30th. We got the combo card a month then no updates on I-485. A November filler that I know got her green card literally 2 days ago, and her case was in Memphis like my case is at right now. What the hell?

Perhaps you're both in line for a green card with an interview waiver.  I filed mid-November and got the approval for the green card (with waiver) in mid-April.  So hopefully they are just working through the piles and you guys will hear something this month.

Im praying but I hardly doubt that I'd get waived since Im adjusting from F1 visa. And F1 is not on the waiver list.
