Whoooo knowwwss!! lol

Oh np, it always helps to know you're not alone and really.... are they going to deny what's on paper? No probably not! We get so nervous in this process, but they are just human after all :) They can (obviously) make mistakes, and they listen to reason and logic - I mean a MAJOR thing they do is review evidence! Good luck to you :)

Hi guys!!

I just wanted to update you all about our case. Yesterday my husband and I were trying to figure out wether or not book our flights to Europe for the end of May, hoping that we would not hear from Uscis until later or if worse comes to worse and we were called for an interview we would reschedule it... so taking that risk we bought the flights.

I couldn't avoid feeling worried and barely slept last night but to my surprise today at 7am i received an e-mail from uscis saying that my I-485 status changed to "Card/Document production"!! I couldn't believe!

Thanks for all the support, this group is fantastic and wish the best to all the couples who are still waiting.

i am concerned about traveling outside the country even with the AP. Any thoughts on this?

Sounds like you are all set, but I travelled to Mexico and back on AP two weeks ago and all was fine.

They were a bit confused at check-in in Mexico City as I don't think the airline had seen a combo card before, but it was all sorted out in a few minutes.

Entry in Denver was fine, no problems. I had to go to secondary inspection but my wife was allowed to stay with me, officer was really nice, cracked a few jokes and just asked me a couple of questions, checking I was in AOS etc. Got my 'Paroled' stamp in my passport and said "Welcome Home" as he handed it back to me - entire process was really quick and we were out before our luggage arrived.

Got the results of the service request for the EAD in the mail yesterday and all it said was that my case was "waiting for an interview to be scheduled". Since that sounds like information for the AOS instead of the EAD, I called USCIS again and had to explain how that didn't seem relevant to the actual service request I filed 4 times before the officer I was talking to understood what I was saying. All he said was that he was sorry for any inconvenience, that his manual tells him an RFIE resets the 90 days, and to keep waiting. We're on day 155 now and if I don't get actual information when I contact the congressman's office again next week I'll probably contact a senator.

I'd have more patience if they'd gotten that RFIE to us at a reasonable time. The fact that they waited until day 87 to send it is the reason why everything is so messed up now.

Oh wow.. that's terrible 🙁

Hopefully you're in the home stretch, though at this rate you may get the gc interview before the EAD.

Deep breaths -- you're close to a most welcomed 21 month break from USCIS filings.

Just called their customer service number to see if any movement on our case.

Was informed that ALL K1 cases are sent to local field offices. I feel like this is a lie?!

And then told San Antonio were working on cases from June 6th 2016 so it would be 5 and a half months before they get to mine.

...They were working on cases from June 6th as of February 28th. SO TWO ENTIRE MONTHS HAVE PASSED SINCE THEN. So how is this date valid/factual?

Who the f**k trains these people on the phones?
