hey guys

long time no see

Did everyone receive their greencard already?

I`m going to get my second RFE some day next week (received the online message this morning) because apparently there is some kind of error with the form that I don`t seem to find any solution around here.

My baby will be born in June and I am really scared that they will kick me out of here after she is born and I won`t be able to take her with me.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

Relax - as long as your adjustment of status is pending, your stay in the US is authorized, regardless of how long it takes or how many RFEs you get.

We need to know exactly what the RFE letter says to be able to assist you. Until you have it, relax and wait. You will be fine ;)

Thank you for your congratulations :D

And I'm happy that you managed to get yourself out of the situation - Your situation reminded me of a Bible verse... I'm an Atheist myself, but my Grandfather was a very religious man and it was his favorite verse. It's a verse about life - and religious or not, it speaks to all of us.. So remember, things will get better :) (L)

Everything Has Its Time

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born,
    And a time to die;
A time to plant,
    And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
    And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
    And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
    And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
    And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
    And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
    And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
    And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
    And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
    And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
    And a time to speak;
A time to love,
    And a time to hate;
A time of war,
    And a time of peace.

Hello all,

I have a question about when/if I would receive an RFE due to a missing gonorrhea test?  Things in my case seemed to be progressing well but as the time dragged on in the 'Ready to Schedule Interview' (December 29th, 2016) stage I started looking at forums such as these.  That is when I learned about the change in the medical requirements.  I reviewed my receipt from the civil surgeon and sure enough no gonorrhea test was performed.  If it is 'Ready to Schedule' could that mean it has already been reviewed and no RFE's will be forthcoming?

And now my venting: I contacted the Dr. office and they were very rude and defensive about the change to the regulations.  Claimed they had only been informed a couple of months ago so it wasn't their fault.  Regulations changed in August 2016, I was there in late October 2016.  At the prices they charge they have an obligation to be complete and thorough and stay up on the requirements!

I have seen some people that receive an RFE for the test before their interview and some receive it AT their interview, so it could go either way.

To be fair you can't rubbish peoples faith and belief in deity as fairy tales. There is no proof to suggest the non existent of god, science can only suggest prove so much and has limitations, there is so much unexplained events in this universe.  People have faith and find hope in religion and it is unfair for religious people to call any one a heathen but also for non religious to call religious people heathens too.

Science is based on proving theories. This is what has propelled humanity to the level of technology and knowledge where we are at today. There is a scientifically logical flaw in trying to prove a negative.
I can in fact "rubbish peoples believes" - I can believe what I choose, and so can they.

Also - I won't discuss this any further since it was just a lighthearted exchange of viewpoints, and not intended to start a wider discussion as this is not the forum for it. Thanks for your point of view though :)

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, we just have to wait. I think you will receive interview notice before me. I hope it will be soon... :D

How to expect when will  we receive interview notice from USCIS?

Maybe you know more VJ fillers who will go for interview to Detroit? Let inform each other, ok?

Not sure. We did finally get our interview date on April 3rd for May 4th!
