I am so sorry.  What was wrong? Did you pass your  AOS interview or not?

What do you  mean saying  "you've withdrawn" your application?

VAWA -?

I've been victim of domestic violence by my petitioner, and because of it I moved out. I didn't attend the AOS interview, I withdrew my AOS instead (see: https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/AFM/HTML/AFM/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-2872/0-0-0-3047.html ). Meaning I cancelled and told USCIS I'm removing that application, i.e. not processing it to it's conclusion.

VAWA is the Violence Against Women Act - for information, see: https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/battered-spouse-children-parents.

I am currently working with the lawyer to file I-360.

Any november filers here still waiting on EAD with no RFE. I am a december filer (12/22), no RFE yet and no news yet on my EAD/AP. I raised SR day 92 , standard reply saying wait.

What should i do? spoke to level 2 officer on day 95 and today day 106. Standard replies.

Anyone who was waiting on EAD with no RFE beyond 100 days, what steps did you take? i am losing my mind

I am now. Took me a while to realize I had options. Luckily I met some good people that pointed me on the right direction. I have a NGO providing me legal aid and was able to find transitional housing.

Wish I had thought out a contingency plan in case things went wrong. But aside from that I seem to be safe now.

Congratulations on your job, so happy for you!

Thank you very much! The support is much appreciated. What I'm doing now is trying to remain focused and getting the next step done. I was lucky that I made some good friends on my time here that are being extremely helpful. The worst is over now, I'm out of where I was before. Now it's a matter of getting back up. I'm very glad it didn't take very long to get the help and information I needed when things went south. Hopefully everything will turn out alright.

And I'm happy that you managed to get yourself out of the situation - Your situation reminded me of a Bible verse... I'm an Atheist myself, but my Grandfather was a very religious man and it was his favorite verse. It's a verse about life - and religious or not, it speaks to all of us.. So remember, things will get better :) (L)

Everything Has Its Time

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born,
    And a time to die;
A time to plant,
    And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
    And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
    And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
    And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
    And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
    And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
    And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
    And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
    And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
    And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
    And a time to speak;
A time to love,

A time of war,

I have a few leads on work luckily :) I made the mistake of not applying for my social security number when I was on my K1 before it expired so I need to wait for my EAD card and then go apply for it and who knows how long it will take my social security number card haha....I assume you need both together to legally work.

Oh, I see that's too bad. Yeah you do need both, but it's not the end of the world :D Once you have the EAD less cases are normally sent for the long paper verification... if you have no weird name issues (as I did lol) then you'll probably get it within 2 weeks of applying without problems :)

Plus if yu already have leads as you say, it will probably be quick once the papers are in order as well

We were married on Sept/16, and I loved him at the time. But there was a sudden change... he had intentions I wasn't aware of at the time.

I appreciate your kind words and support. The worst part of it is over already... now back to paperwork again. Very glad I could find the resources I got when I did.

Good luck on your case too, hoping for a smooth interview ;)

hey guys

long time no see

Did everyone receive their greencard already?

I`m going to get my second RFE some day next week (received the online message this morning) because apparently there is some kind of error with the form that I don`t seem to find any solution around here.

My baby will be born in June and I am really scared that they will kick me out of here after she is born and I won`t be able to take her with me.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

My timeline:

I-129 sent: March 21, 2016 - SENT

NOA1: March 30, 2016 - RECEIVED

NOA2: June 14, 2016 - RECEIVED

NVC: July 15, 2016 - CASE NUMBER RECEIVED

MEDICAL: August 17, 2016 - DONE

INTERVIEW: August 23, 2016 - APPROVED!! :dancing:

POE: September 6, 2016 - IAH :D - final destination - CHICAGO O'HARE
