I plan on mailing out our AOS packet tomorrow. The really need a separate acronym for Affidavit of Support. It should be AO$

Im gonna have to send my husband back home.

My mom refuses to co sponsor and i make enough now but not last year.

Im devestated.

But i rather him go home and theb i can bring him back his 194 expieres 12/23 this will be the worst christmas.

But if you make enough now, you shouldn't need a sponsor. Did you get a raise recently? If so, just delay sending the aos until it's been at least 6 months with the new income. They will look into your past taxes but they should consider only current income.

You are all the way up here, don't just send him home. There are people that wait years til filling for aos, it will be just a few months max for you

It is devastating. As a spouse of a US citizen, his overstay will be forgiven. It's for his best interest that you file for aos asap but under the circumstances, you'd only wait for about 6 months or so with you guys being together instead of him going back and having to start all over again.

Our applications (I-130 and I-485) were delivered on October 31, but they were accepted by the lockbox on Friday, November 4, so I'm going to consider myself a November filer. I'm really pleased our application was processed so quickly and am very much looking forward to the next steps.

Within 90 days of filing. Can take less or a little more. Mine was approved on day 91 back in the end of august

Hi guys, I'm coming in from October filers. My AOS was sent on October 20th and received on October 21st. Got my NOA1 on November 7th at 12:29 am. Awaiting hardcopy NOA and later biometric appointment notice.

Please don't give up now, it was hard enough to get at this point. That is really harsh of your mom to change her mind last minute but if you make enough now then you're fine even if you didn't make enough last year, just get a letter from your employer... You can do this !!

Yes if you get a letter from employer stating current annual income I'm pretty sure you would be fine even if the prior years you didn't make enough.. Just include everything you have and current pay stubs, whatever you can get but don't think you need to start over.. You don't have to rush - you already married you can file AOS whenever works best for you. If you file it now though you will probably be ok since you make enough!!

I am a November filer as well!

We sent our applications on 11/1/2016 and received three NOA text message last night (technically today 12/08/2016 12:20AM- Eastern Time).

And they processed my check today! Let the journey begin!! Good luck everybody!!
