Interview Is Scheduled

On March 30, 2017, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx. Your interview is on May 2, 2017. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

It's really close to VJ AOS processing time statistics.  Let's see at

AOS Timelines Statistics for Detroit  MI:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php

Avg. Days  btw Biometrics and Interview  (if interview required) 124 day

Mine  is 132 days  (My Biometrics was done on Dec 2016.)

After getting RFIE from USCIS on Febr 13,  I  did expected  to get an interview notice so quickly...

Visa Journey is the best source where everyone can check how long it  will take your real processing time.

How much time between status change from RFIE recieved to ready to schedule interview please?

Hi,

I  didn't expect  to get my interview notice so quickly...

VJ  timelines for I - 485, I -765 and I -131 are plenty clear.

You can compare your and VJ  timelines to determine your approx waiting time.

  http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php

My case (Detroit field office):

Avg. Days  btw Biometrics and Interview  (if interview required) 124 day.

Mine  was 132 days.

AOS package submitted on  Nov 11, 2016 and received by USCIS  on Nov 15, 2016

NOA1 Dec 1, 2016

Biometrics  done on Dec 20, 2016.

We received RFIE (for I-864)  on Febr 13, therefore my case delayed for approx. 2 weeks.

Our response to  RFE was received by USCIS on Febr 22, 2017
On-line notice:  "Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview"  on March 24, 2017

EAD received by mail on: March 24, 2017
On-line notice: "Interview scheduled  on  May 2, 2017"  March 30, 2017

Applied for SSN on March 24, 2017, SSN received  in mail on March 31, 2017

Interview notice I-797C received by mail:  April 1, 2017

AOS interview:   May 2, 2017

Wi'll see :jest:

Visa Journey really is the best source where everyone can check how long it  will take to determine his/her AOS processing time.

Good luck.

You should submit an e-request on the USCIS website for the EAD,  maybe it'll bring some attention to your case. It took 3 requests for my husband's EAD to be approved. The first request was around 70 days so it was too early, the second request no one was assigned to it apparently so it went nowhere, and then the third request worked, the EAD was approved within a few days. Try it, it can't hurt. Submitting multiple service request won't hurt you.

My third service request was submitted on the 29th so I hopefully it hurries it up, thanks for the reassurance/tip!
