It's a Senior Analytical Chemist position at a pharmaceutical company just 25 min by car from where I live.. The hubby has 20 minutes to his job in the opposite direction so it worked out great! I couldn't be happier! It was so quiet, I had just assumed they went with a different candidate. I still can't really believe it.. :D

Congratulations Suss!! ?????? Time to throw a partayyyy ???

Yes you should take all the documents you submitted, originals and copies, just to be prepared. My lawyer advised to take employment letters OR pay stubs from the last two months to show that the income is still current, so take whichever one you can get. Did you make copies of the entire package you sent? Take that with you. I know you already submitted everything they asked for but they will want to see the originals.

Documents establishing your eligibility means your marriage certificate, passport, and proof of your legal entry into the country (passport stamp and/or I-94), and yes you can print your I-94 online, make sure you print a couple or make a copy of it so you can keep one (my IO kept my original). It's also important to take ALL original birth certificates, of you, your wife, and your sponsors, they will want to see them, and the translations of it if one is not in English. If you have the original tax returns take them. They may not want to keep any original documents but they want to see them, and think about it, it's better to be prepared and have the documents ready to show them instead of telling them you didn't bring them with you, which might cause them to not approve you on the spot so they can wait for you to submit what they initially wanted to see. So in short, YES take all original documents of what you initially submitted. And don't forget about photos! :)

Thank you for your answer! :)

Okay awesome? I will definitely take the originals as well as copies for just in case they are going to keep certain things.

I talked to my sister-in-law today and she said that she gets monthly direct deposits so she doesn't get any paper pay stubs. But she said she is going to ask and find out. For the employment letter its already too late cause she is working in a huge school district and they are super busy with the staar tests right now. I hope I can at least get her pay stubs before the interview cause I don't really want to get an RFE..but if I do, the blame is on me cause I could have been taking care of all this when I first got the interview letter ?

What would actually happen if the income of one of the sponsors changes a little? Does it only matter to them that they are over the 125% mark? It's not relevant for my case but I was just wondering about that.

Ahh okay I understand now :) Thank you!

I will gather all of that and organize it properly to make it easy for the IO.

Today my wife added me to her checking and savings account so we have a joint bank account now :) We were also able to file her taxes jointly. The only thing thats left to do now is taking my mother-in-laws letter (to proof that we live in her house) to a notary so we can get it notarized.

After that we should be all set.

Thank you so much for helping!! :)

Hello guys I am from the February filers thread  I have questions for you that are 4 months ahead of me, well I received my biometrics appointment march 13th after filing the 23rd of February my appointment was the 20th of March...3 days after my case status changed to be scheduled for an interview my I130 still in your case has been received, what should I expect now?

My timeline so far

February 20th- ship AOS package (I485, I130, I765)

February 23rd-  package was received at Chicago lockbox.

March 1st- 3 NOAS received in the mail

March 13th - Biometrics letter came in the mail.

March 20th - Biometrics done at Seattle location

March 23rd- case status of I 485 updated to ( your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview)

And that's it I haven't received any RFE so what should I expect next?

I'm still surprised because it did not take too long for the I 485 to be ready is that an standard procedure? Or would I get an RFE? What does my status in the I 485 mean?

Thank you ?

You're welcome, sounds like you have everything you need. The pay stubs can be accessed online and printed, I'm sure they'll be able to do that for your sister-in-law at her job. I don't know what happens if a sponsor's income changes though, but yes as long as it goes above the 125% line it's fine.

Best of luck to you and let us know how it goes! ?

It means what it says, that they have processed your case and it's ready for an interview. It happens, some cases are processed in less time than others, but the status could stay at "ready for interview" for a few months, and until your local office schedules it. When they're ready they'll send you a letter with the date, time and place of your interview, so all you can do now is wait.

From what I've seen they usually notify about a month/month 1/2 in advance, give or take. Mine was scheduled on February 2, and the interview day was March 10.

Yup we kinda do :) Finally!

Okay thats awesome!! But umm for just in case I'm not going to be able to get her pay stubs..would it also be okay to show her account statements to show the amount she got paid the past 2 months?

I was actually hoping it would be enough to show them her 2016 tax return and her W2's so they can see her yearly income is still the same..well it actually got higher :P

I see, thank you!

Thank you very much! We're gonna need it big time! I will definitely let you guys know!:)

If you have her statements sure.  But yeah most likely the tax returns will be enough; we took pay stubs to the interview just in case but the officer didn't ask for that, he only looked at the tax returns.

Wanted to update everyone on our case - as our ending is a bit more unique with a RFE received at the AOS interview for an updated medical form. Interview was 3/21. Local field office received new medical on 3/27. Yesterday (3/27), we received in the mail an approval letter relating to the I-130. The approval is dated 3/21 - same as interview date. I-485 is still pending online - status hasn't updated to show that they received our response. Hopefully we receive the GC is in production update relatively soon! Hopefully the medical doesn't push us back a long time!

Hey guys!

I'm organizing our AOS box for the interview right now and I noticed that my wife's paystubs are still under single! My wife told HR sooo many times that she got married. She even gave them a copy of our marriage certificate and they said they will make sure they change it but yet it still says single on her paystubs :help: Is this going to affect us at the interview? :(
