For 2017 his anticipated income would be probably what you put... I think you'be got this and know what to do.. match those figures and provide the new pay stubs and the return. Write a clarifying letter.. highlight etc.. He makes enough and you have evidence.

No... you extrapolate all the way until December... BUT in December, you already knew what he had made up until then, so you should have added what you anticipated him to make during December to the amount that he made thus far.

Thank you so much for your answers and support. Called USCIS and told me 2016 return was fine since it's above the requirements but I've seen them make mistakes before. 

But then again, when I responsed to the first RFE in February 2017, I included new 2017 pay stubs and employment letter and still not accepted.

Right! At the end of the i-864 there is a place where you can add information - basically write what you want about a part and item in the form. I wrote there when my husband started the job and what time period the income from that year represented. 2015 was lower cause he started working in July.... That information should also be in the employment letter, but I think every explaining bit helps...

Yes he has... and I matched year-to-date+anticipated for rest of the year as annual househould income. But if you're doing a new i-864 also remember to update 19a-19c.

Okay I will update the taxes part. There's a significant increase. 2016 income is 157% of 2015 income. Update letter explaining his work situation 

So you don't think I need the joint sponsor?
