Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

Yea.. the updates are going through slow it seems... my status updated to card has been mailed just now... but the date for when it updated was yesterday... That would explain how USPS knew before me! :rofl:

Hey, folks. Good news. Received a text update: Card production ordered for the EAD :D

 

26 days before the interview for the I-485. I'll use the EAD for about 2 weeks LOL.

Guys, I just got my EAD approved!! yayyy..

 

As I said I got in contact with my congresswoman and they were very helpful... I filled out a form and sent it to them with some other attachments, they got in touch with USCIS yesterday and today they got a reply saying that my EAD was approved on 03/07/17...... So at this point I already knew it was approved however the status wasn't showing it yet. 5 hours later I got the SMS saying that it was approved.

Yep. My PD is Nov 23, still no EAD. ?

 I'm going insane, my interview is tomorrow and I've been reading horror stories for hours, expecting a worst case scenario ??

I got the interview appointment notice letter for the I-485 in the mail while the online status was still "Fingerprint fee received" and both EAP and AP on "Case was received". You should be fine. But yeah, not knowing for sure where it is and how it's going is awful and generates a lot of anxiety.

 

Now I don't know if they'll honor the address change I submitted for all 3 forms or if they'll try to send the EAD card to my previous address. I listed all 3 receipt numbers on the online application but their confirmation letter only listed the I-485. Confusing...

 

@Suss&Camm How long did it take you from "card in production" to the mailing in MyUSPS? Thanks again!

Oh wait! lol it's not... ok sooo card in production was 17th.... card mailed was 22nd and MyUSPS the day after... 23rd :D for EAD/AP and received on th 25th.
