@Suss&Camm That trick for the USPS you showed me is so cool. I Can see my combo card will be here on Friday. Only took 8 days.....

I couldnt find the post but I tried to create an account, and they said it was impossible to verify my identity. I checked if I could do it at the office but they require a US passport, GC or DL and I don't have any. How did you set up your account? maybe I am doing something wrong lol I want to see when the card is arriving :(

Am in the same position lol

I think I am going to do it just because is free lol and it's nice to have have the possibility of traveling anytime without the GC.

Has anyone here received their EAD or AP approval this week? Looking at the timelines looks like no one has received notification of approval in the last three days. We're on Day 92 from the date of our NOA1 and shivering with antici...PATION. :o

Nope :( I received the approval online last friday, but I got the letter this week.

I'm very happy right now! We managed to open our first joint bank account :) We did it online with Capital One. They had to call me to verify my identity and asked me a few questions. In a few days my card will arrive in the mail!

Yayyy!! Congrats! It is going to feel good to have a card with you :) We just added my name to his account (after 2 denials).

Day 100 for EAD. We put a service request in after 75 days. They don't seem to work. Perhaps we should attempt to do that again.

There are people that submitted 2-3 service requests :)  I think you should do it :) Although, it seems they are taking +100 days to approve the petitions.

I'd been expecting around $14, but I was horribly, horribly wrong. We probably should have sent it with FedEx but we were anxious to get it out and the post office is right down the street. That place has cost me way more than I expected every time I've gone in. I wouldn't be surprised if they know me as 'the girl who exclaims loudly when she's told the cost of sending something',haha.

hahahaha I think we might be related!!

Well, it might be in my head but I have feeling my phone alerts more Thursdays and Fridays than Monday-Wednesday (the app alerts when cases move forward). It woke me upp going spastic this morning for example hahahah anyhow let's hope that's the case and some approvals keep popping up today and tomorrow :)

Well, I was lucky in that I had moved once and received mail at both addresses, so it could pinpoint me by those questions. BUT, you should definitely be able to do it without those documents at the post office.  Your foreign passport, mail received at the address and perhaps SSC or whatever else you have to show who you are should be good to them as it is everywhere else. You are the person receiving mail there... that's so strange...

There was someone else in here that had to go to the post office too... I don't remember who but I believe they were successful...

I definitely agree with this.

I feel like they sit around in hooded cloaks drinking bourbon around a fire Mon-Wed and use some filings as kindling.  Whatever doesn't get burned gets processed at the end of the week. Haha sometimes my imagination runs wild.

Either that or the physical pile of papers gets too high and they have to power through a whole bunch of them before end of week.

I wonder if their workflow has specific days for specific items?

I am not sure, maybe... but you know, maybe they just pick up a pile at the beginning of the week and start looking at it... I feel like randomness is more likely that order, atleast by judgin from the results..

No, you are not doing anything wrong. You just have not been in the U.S. long enough for them to have a history of residences to verify your identity.

The same thing happened for my wife. Have your spouse set up an account. It will report packages sent to the address. It doesn't matter what name.

Focus on the positive so you don't drive yourself silly with madness.

It's approved and your employment offer is still valid :-)
