Hi!

This is terrible man... I'm sure you're gonna get it soon!

How long did they take to "deny" your expedite request? Did you send them the offer? By email or fax?

My next step will be getting in touch with the congressman... How do I find their contact?

Took two weeks to get denial. No request for the offer because they denied it immediately when my name (petitioner) did not match my wife's (applicant).

I-129F sent : February, 29, 2016

NOA1: March, 1, 2016

NOA2: TBD...

ARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!

Just got off the phone with USCIS and got yet ANOTHER, DIFFERENT answer about how my AOS RFIE will affect my EAD.  They confirmed that is DOES restart the clock (unlike what the USCIS IO told me 2 weeks ago).  Tearing my hair out.  NO DL, SNN in maiden name and can't fix it, STILL can't work or leave the country.  So frustrated that it took them over 90 days to request evidence on AOS, which should never have been an RFIE in the first place.

Has anyone else had RFIE for AOS?  How did it affect you EAD application?

Same situation here! I was so happy that I hadn't received any RFEs. Until the last week they asked for our marriage lisence! Ridiculous! It was sent with the application obviously! I am livid. Correction "was" livid. I let it go because I was worrying myself too much. I too was ready to start driving and working. Now I have to wait again! ?

All I can tell you is stay calm and put in a SR later on if they take longer than 2 -3 weeks. All we can do is wait!

Mine is same:

I received RFIE in mail Feb 18

RFIE - uncompleted form I-864. (I was requested re-complete page 4 form I-864) Everyone must do it with Adobe Reader (to fill this USCIS Form on-line would be incorrect). Our response received by USCIS 2/22/2017

On 03/01/2017 I did second request regarding I-765 and on  03/02/2017 my wife  (as my representative) contacted USCIS by phone  but  did not get any CONCRETE answer bout my case. It was clear from this conversation was really usefulness.

Yesterday I received email from USCIS (regarding to our request by phone):

Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. Presently, we anticipate that delay to be approximately 6 months from the date of this notice. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from USCIS by that date, please contact customer service at the number provided below.

USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Thank you for your response!

That really blows thou :(

I hope the six month wait isn't accurate thou! Good luck to the both of us!

My husband works an evening shift so he is still asleep but I need to share this news with someone, and all of you are SO great -- I am hired!!  For a Title Insurance Real Estate law firm that's a 4 minute drive from our house.  I am SO excited this morning - Best Monday ever.  ???

That's awesome!! Congrats!! It was worth the wait after all, huh?

What did you tell the other company that interviewed you? I am in a bit of a sticky situation here.. I'm having  a 2nd interview and an interview with another company tomorrow... I am just so afraid to tell them to wait until Friday for my decision, because what if someone else gets my place? LOL... How did you handle your situation?

It's always so tough to make decisions.  I was walking in from an interview when I got the call.

My plan was to hold out as long as possible, but I accepted the one and then sent an email follow-up to the other thanking them for their time and consideration but I was withdrawing my candidacy.

At the end of the day, you have to do what's best for you and your husband.  As sad as it is employees are replaceable - so even if you have to tell one yes and then pull it back bc you receive a better offer, than c'est la vie.  They'll have someone else to say yes 5 minutes later.  ORRRRR you could use that as a bargaining chip and get them to add an extra 0 to the end of your salary offer ?

OK, so I put in my 2nd SR on Saturday 03/04 at 7pm, (online) and I already received a response, this morning at 9am! 'Currently under review', but what a great response time! Especially since I still haven't received a response to my 1st SR, placed online on 02/24. So no progress on my EAD yet, but at least they are working on it. Day 97 and still waiting...

I asked my Lawyer if she could ask to expedite my 765 because of financial stress. We have more bills than money coming in. & she said it wasn't possible! ? I don't get it! How is it that so many others that have posted on here have been able to expedite?

Well, there are certain criteria.. I don't have the list but it's been posted on VJ before and is probably found elsewhere as well... So what most ppl do is expedite based on a job offer, because losing out a job offer can be claimed to be "severe financial loss". What you are talking about would be claiming under "financial hardship" which is kind of hard to claim since you have a sponsor..
