Hi everyone I don't post often as I have a one year old chasing after me at all hours of the day! ?

Just wondering if anyone else here has received and RFIE & has an EAD approval already. How soon after your response was your EAD/AP approved?

-I received RFIE in mail Feb 24

(apparently they lost my copy of marriage certificate that was originally sent)

-response sent Feb 27

-response received March 2

now to play the waiting game. I'm eager to start working. I'm tired of being limited on one income. Should I tell lawyer to expedite? ?

Mine is same:

I received RFIE in mail Feb 18

RFIE - uncompleted form I-864. (I was requested re-complete page 4 form I-864) Everyone must do it with Adobe Reader (to fill this USCIS Form on-line would be incorrect). Our response received by USCIS 2/22/2017

On 03/01/2017 I did second request regarding I-765 and on  03/02/2017 my wife  (as my representative) contacted USCIS by phone  but  did not get any CONCRETE answer bout my case. It was clear from this conversation was really usefulness.

Yesterday I received email from USCIS (regarding to our request by phone):

Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. Presently, we anticipate that delay to be approximately 6 months from the date of this notice. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from USCIS by that date, please contact customer service at the number provided below.

USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Okay there is officially no emoticon that accurately describes the look on my face right now! hahahahaha

Congrats Suss.

You was and still are the best adviser in this forum.  What do you mean about  our case?

Anyone here with a November pd has had an rfie but has gotten their EAD approved ?

Hi! My PD is 11/22/16 I haven't had any rfe and I haven't gotten approved yet.

I've put 2 SRs, one when my process reached 75 days and another one when it reached 90 days.. haven't gotten any reply from them on my 2nd SR yet.

I'm starting to get worried.. Should I take any actions here? Try to expedite it (I have a job offer) or get in touch with a congressman?

What do you guys think?

Thank you for your kind words Kestutis. :)

About your case... huh! That is a new answer...haven't see it before.. I suppose they are getting a lot of service requests due to their backlog. My guess would be that it is still a standard answer... I have a really hard time believing it would take 6 months..simply cause well.. that would be crazy... I would probably contact my congressman with that response though... Cause even the idea of 6 months, when it's as it says "unrelated to your case" is not okay when in fact you are supposed to be able to work while waiting for your green card... A congressman might put some fire under their butts...

Like I said.. I HIGHLY doubt that it actually means a 6 month wait, or even anything near it.. I just think they are trying to get peace to work on the backlog... my guess.

If you have a job offer it doesn't hurt to get the ball rolling... It might turn out that you'll get your ead before the expedite even takes off... but then again, you don't know that for sure.. so if you don't mind the little bit of extra work, I'd still definitely do that... Congrats btw, on the job offer! :)

I would put in another service request. I submitted 3 service requests. The first one was around 70-something days and was "within processing times." The second one was completely ignored since it never got assigned to anyone apparently. And finally when I made the third service request my husband's ead/ap got approved within a few days. Doesn't hurt to submit another request, try it ?

Congrats :jest: giving a try is the best ever. Those who sound don't make a service request because they are within the time frame or have a backlog sounds negative and motivated! lol ;)

anywho all the best wish you a good luck to find the appropriate job!

It took over 100 days formost of us to receive EAD/AP combo card notification, so I will just give it a little bit more time.

Our received date was 11/17/16  and our status just updated yesterday.

Yay!! Congrats! When did they receive your RFE response ? Did you get the notice online or in the mail?

Just an update on the USCIS.gov case tracker. My husband said he didn't get any texts or emails.

Neither did I.  My husband's cell and my email is listed for text notifications and neither of us got anything.  I only noticed bc I obsessively check the app.

My i131 still shows as "case was received" even though I have the physical card :-/
