Oohhh okay that's a relief! I got scared for a second! Haha 8 weeks is a loooong time! I mean after waiting for EAD for over 3 months I can't afford to wait another month or so. I got the number today I asked them if they can give it to me verbally or write it down which they did. I have a job waiting for me already so I needed the number so bad so they can run a background check on me. Hopefully the actual card will be delivered sooner than expected since I have the number already that should mean my name is already in their database. ?

Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

Hi everyone I don't post often as I have a one year old chasing after me at all hours of the day! ?  

 

Just wondering if anyone else here has received and RFIE & has an EAD approval already. How soon after your response was your EAD/AP approved?  

 

-I received RFIE in mail Feb 24

(apparently they lost my copy of marriage certificate that was originally sent)

-response sent Feb 27 

-response received March 2

 

now to play the waiting game. I'm eager to start working. I'm tired of being limited on one income. Should I tell lawyer to expedite? ?

I think they have regional facilities for card production. My wife's card came from Lee's Summit, MO.
