Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

Yep!  I'm mid-November and the only response I got from a service request was "your file is under review and you should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."

 

Super frustrating to be sitting in limbo and just waiting.

 

Wouldn't hurt for you to call for a service request or submit online.  Just for peace of mind that it's not sitting in someone's desk drawer.

Oct/28/2016: Everything was mailed out.

Nov/16/2016: On November 1, 2016 we received your....

Nov/28/2016: Received the letter for biometrix appt.

Dec/7/2016: Biometrix appt done.

Dec/16/2016: Case ready for interview. For ky EAD and AP there was no change.

 

No cuange ever since ajd it's my 112th day after I filed. I filed an SR yesterday, on my 111th day. Today I checked my status and it just said that my case was transferred to an officer for a response :(.

I know!!!! I just feel like I'm in a home prison thing haha. It's like groundhog day every day for me ever since I got married in October. :( And not only that, I'm here in Cali, and life is quite expensive, so... Trying to live on a budget, keeping calm.

It just sucks that some people who filed in Dec already got their combo card and I'm like there in limbo.

Yeah CA is definitely expensive cost of living.  Always tough with just one income...

Omg! You won't believe it! I just got a text that said that my case had been updated and I checked and it said that my card was being produced!! ?? I guess the SR worked after all!

It also gave me the update "Case was Approved" for the AP application. I never got that status for the EAD (similar also to other members)
