There is something wrong with it as it did not do that previously. This is the one I used and u can still use it until 2/21 I think. Works fine...

It did the same when I did mine back in November. It depends on your reader. You might not notice it if it works for you.

Well the advice that has worked for everyone else is to download adobe reader...then open the program, then open the file from within the program. Don't go the path of double-clicking on the file cause it launches the plug-in instead and that doesn't work.

 

So if you tried that, and that doesn't work then I would see if I could try it on another computer. Cause that should work! Good luck

I tried everything - another PC (Windows), tablet (iPad and Samsung), another browser (Chrome, IE) but result is same: 

 

Only Items 1, 2, 8 of Part 5  cannot auto - populate... (they are still  inactive)

Other items are populating well.  It seems,  there is mistake in somewhere of previous pages, right?

 

Where I can download correct I-684 with 2D bar code for filling out electronially?

Do NOT use the browser!! That doesn't work. Open the Adobe program ITSELF. Then get the file from WITHIN the program

Only you helps me resolve this issue.

 

But still missing:

 

I need complete only page 4, but it seems I must fill out all pages, because some items (5.3) does not calculate correct number.  (it types "3", instead of "2")

Whats wrong?

You only enter each person once. You have put some person two times.

Yes I see that. It did the same thing when I tried to open the link. I think it has to be downloaded.

Don't fill in a number in "if you are currently married enter..." The applicant and the sponsor are already entered automatically... That field is for ppl that are sponsors where the sponsor is NOT also the spouse..

Yes, you are married... BUT it also says to only count each person once. The sponsor and the applicant are already counted at this point, so you do NOT enter a 1 in that field. If you had had a co-sponsor.. and they were married. THEN THEY would enter a 1 in that field. In our cases.. the sponsor IS the spouse, and is already counted.

Your welcome... a lot of ppl have problems with that right there, you're not alone. I had to look it up as well when I was filling it out.

 

I have no idea about interview yet, but that's ok.. since the EAD card is being produced, the rest can come whenever it feels like it

i guess i messed mine in this part too !!

the form end up with a household size of 3. which i knew is wrong .. made it 2 by removing 5.1 and left 5.2(the sponsor) and 5.3 (the spouse..thought it is me).

didn't get an RFE yet hope it won't be a big deal and pass.
