lol well the EAD/AP (c)(9) are processed only at the NBC, some of the i-485's where the interview is waived are also processed at the NBC at the moment. USCIS constantly rework how they distribute workload over different centers. So unless you were notified that your i-485 was transferred it's still at NBC as well.

 

edit: not only at NBC, but primarily I should say, cause they redirect as needed.

Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

I already did. They told me to send the letter with my marriage certificate and the EAD combo card

Oh right, I see, yea the certified copy, and I forgot you already have your card! :) So yea and you have your interview scheduled so your i-485 is in Houston as you say, but the others never go there.

yes spot on it was approved on day one of the date range they gave me. If you are viewing my timeline, I filed for a second EAD later on, that is reflected there.

My NOA for my EAD was 11/4 - and received approval yesterday. So yours should be coming up soon.

Getting married under a tourist visa is actually a violation of nonimmigrant status. So, you definitely did the right thing :) Your EAD will get approved soon . You'll see ;)

hey guys good news, i contacted my congressman office about expedite on Monday February 6, just now i checked the USCIS app and i notice it says new card being produce on February 8. i didn't get no text or email though. congressman intervention definitely helped because my pd is November 14th and i know i wouldn't get the ead anytime soon.

Getting married on a tourist visa is perfectly legal as long as you leave the country afterwards. Entering with the intent to marry AND STAY and adjust is visa fraud. :)
