Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

According to USPS I have two letters arriving today! I'm so anxious. I see one is the approval for AP and EAD because the writing is showing on the image. I wonder what the other one is! ?

EAD/AP approved 3/9

They sent me 2 separate letters both saying I was approved for EAD/AP, you're probably getting the same thing. Congrats!! ?

I got the approval on 3/9 as well but my status hasn't changed to "Card is being produced" or "Card has be mailed". 

How long does it take to go from Approved to Card is being produced?

I actually went from card being produced to approved on the same day. The produced was dated for the day before 3/8. Maybe you already got card produced & didn't get to see it! I hear cars produced comes before approved.

The card is sent as a "package" (although in a an envelope) since it has tracking. It will show up on the packages dashboard.

As mnm0908 says that happens. My GC was approved on a Friday and I got the approved notice then. I got the card in production on the following, Wednesday which was dated the Tuesday the day before. So since you got your approval on a Thursday, you'll probably see the status change during the first half of the week. Your card should be in your possession around Friday-Saturday... or possibly early next week.

Thanks guys, you just answered all my questions.  We got the approval letters, but I was wondering about the card.  Ours changed f rom approved, card being produced, to card mailed all within a couple days of each other.so we should receive it soon.

I'm constantly checking it as if it would magically show up from one minute to the next. Haha I'm glad this process is almost over! My anxiety has been through the roof for too long

So I'm looking for jobs here in Dallas.... but atm... pharma industry here is slow... (I'm a Medicinal Chemist)... I posted my resume on a bunch of job boards... and I got a staffing agency that seems eager to want to place me.. only... it's in Pennsylvania and in New Jersey... that's pretty far from Texas.... I still said I'm interested...hubby said if I were offered a position he's willing to move... which makes me happy, but at the same time.. if I did get a position out of state...  *sigh* move again! lol but you do what you have to... they are really good positions... I guess I should be really happy that I'm even considered...  We'll see if I get an interview...
 

Is it costly to move to another state?? like if you're moving furniture and car etc...? what are some things I would need to consider/get done? Back in Sweden, you move, you just need to change your address... here it seems way complicated :blink: Any tips appreciated.... anyone else moved or will be moving to another state?
