Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

The VJ timeline estimate was right on with the first date of the time range for both our 129F and EAD.

Right! It's pretty much right on schedule. I know some ppl are waiting longer ofc, but cases are different and the general feeling is that they are catching up to the holidays. :)

Card in hand last night! Hubby and I were super excited until we noticed something unfortunate...theres a name error

 

Do you want the good news or bad news first?

 

I'll start with that bad I guess...

 

Bad news is we have to fill out a new form, mail back the card with supporting documents and WAIT MORE

 

Good news is that others have also been through this process and it only took another 3-4 weeks for the replacement. Also, because he has already been approved for a card and we have the receipts he is allowed to accept employment as long as he presents the card within 90 days of starting work. 

10/3/16 Married in NYC!

11/4/16 Mailed forms to Chicago lockbox via FedEx

11/7/16 Paperwork received at lockbox

11/22/16 NOA Received via Text/Email

12/15/16 Biometrics complete

02/06/17: EAD card Being produced

02/09/17: EAD card mailed

02/16/17: EAD card received (with typographic error)

02/17/17: EAD Typographic error E-Request sent

02/21/17: EAD Correction application with documents mailed to NBC

02/24/17: EAD Packet signed by USCIS

03/14/17: Text/Email NOA

03/21/17: Hardcopy NOA received

03/25/17: Mailed out I-131

04/10/17: Biometrics repeated for EAD I-765

04/21/17: i-131 Expedite request

05/10/17: I-131 Approved at Infopass appointment

Unfortunate! but just "clerical" stuff :) He's allowed to work, main thing :yes:

Congrats on all the approvals on EAD thus far .  I cannot see what is the issue with my case today makes 99 days since priority date and no updates whatsoever all cases still say “Fingerprint Fee Accepted and Case Received” and I have not received any RFE.  Case is at NBC. MArriage Based USC

Nov 7:  Package Sent :

Nov 10: Priority Day ( I-485, I-130, I-765)

Dec 19: Biometrics Done:

Feb 1:  Service Request Raised

Feb 13: Assigned to an officer and received response “case is within normal processing time”

Feb 16: 2nd Service request raised and received response same day that the case is being reviewed and will receive response shortly

Hi guys , so the RFE I got was for clarification on my legal name . I filed in my married name  but my passport obviously has my maiden name . Was I supposed to send three official copies ? One for AOS, AP & EAD a piece . I included 3 copies of my SSN card but only sent one official copy in the entire pack .
