The I-9 that needs to be signed needs to be signed at the latest on the three days after you start the job.. So I suppose you could have it by then in any case

Currently on day 89. Put in a service request on day 76. Just got told it was still processing blah blah. So sick of how much this process is dragged out. People entering on tourist visas get approved before K1s and I know I sound like a total brat but I don't think that's cool! We have already spent $1000
's and waited months doing everything the correct way and yet at times it feels like we are at the bottom of a pile. Surviving on only one income has been brutal for us.

Same here!!! I've had few job interviews this month and I just can't wait for EAD! I will be sending a service request when I reach my 90 day mark if won't hear anything by then.

When one group believes that the actions of another group is taking away something from them. Referring to the comment about tourist visas being approved ahead of K1s etc. Many of them believe tourist visas are taking their place in the AOS line, as if they are cheating for doing something the law allows. Even if this is what they believe not the forum for it. There are many other threads to discuss that. I think doing it here is inappropriate. Imho.

I mean take that as xenophobia if you will, I don't believe that people applying for something in November should be approved before someone who started the process in April, has already paid over double in fees and has basically been playing one long waiting game since. That just seems common sense to me and isn't me discriminating against anyone's individual life choices or how they chose to go about their immigration.

I am truly so happy for everyone receiving EAD's, interview dates etc, and hopefully people can understand my frustration at USCIS (and NOT at individuals going through this, regardless of what route they took!!!) because their system is really failing right now.
