You DON'T have the passport... can't do much without the passport.

Just about all you can do without the passport is pay the visa fee at BPI

I see...hopefully, we'll have it in three weeks at the most.

In that case, is the deadline to do all of this four months after my receiving of the NOA2? I'd like to pay and do the DS-160 at the same time.

I just want to make sure I don't do anything too late.

Thanks again for your reply.

You have a year to get everything done, not 4 months. The embassy will automatically extend your petition validity for up to a year. All is good

You can't complete the DS-160 until you have a passport, you need the passport number.

I have another question. I never made a copy of the I129f I sent. Do I need it? I do have the confirmation, of course, but no copy of the original one.

No you do not need it. It is suggested to make a copy for "just in case" something happens to your original you sent to USCIS.

BUT! ... always a but don't ya know. But it would be good if you completed another G-325A and emailed a copy to your fiancee, the info on that form will help for the interview at the embassy and at CFO.
