What is the Color of the slip that gives you Visa?

PINK means Administrative processing

Which one is for VISA.....??????

I could be wrong but I think 'NO' paper is the one you want. I think they just tell you verbally that you have been approved and will recieve the visa in whatever time they are quoting.

Depends on the specific consulate.

My wife's 221G was on white paper. Her approval was, as Turboguy wrote, no paper.

What difference does it make? It's the words that are important, not the paper they're written on.

the paper they gave me was green... but they told me i was approved and i should allow 7-10 days for the visa to arrive... (germany)

We had two form letters one blue and one white stating we were in AP.

221g is also admin processing..the color dont mean anything.

its the call from the embassy that matters. good luck

the CO in US Embassy Abu Dhabi gave me a pink slip and advised me to get my passport after a day...

I agree....good post and question......I was wondering about this same thing myself. In my wife's case, 2 days ago, the embassy gave her a "green" paper. For this particular embassy (Ankara), the green paper is apparently used for "request for more information". (not blue....as in the case of HCMC)

I thought the color was standard throughout for each consulate/embassy.

Apparently....I was mistaken.

In Brazil the GREEN paper means approval. We were given that at the end of the interview and the CO wrote on it for us to return in 2 days to pick up the visa (which was actually put in his passport the following day).
