Never received an Alien registration number for K-1

I am working on preparing paperwork for an AoS for my wife who arrived here a few weeks ago on her K-1 Visa. On the I-485 form it has a field for the Alien registration number.. we never actually received any paperwork that shows this number. Is that going to be a problem for submitting the AoS? Or is the I-94 Number all we need?

Also, is the Nonimmigrant Visa Number the red number on the Visa page of her passport? Was that number issued at the consulate where she had the interview?

Have you checked the approval notice for the i129f? It should be there.

The visa number should be written in red on her visa attached to her passport

Thank you for the quick response. the I129F we submitted was approved back in August of 2016. The only number they sent us was the receipt number which was the WAC#. They never sent us any documentation that had an A-number listed on it?

EDIT: Oops.. you are absolutely correct.. It is on the NOA form I received. I dont know how I missed that.. thank you so much for all the help!

Odd, I was looking for an answer to the same question regarding my husband's K1 but there is no Alien reg. number on the two notices I received. The first notice I received was that I-797 Notice of Action form with a specific box for the Alien number which is blank. The second notice I received was just a letter stating our I-129F petition was approved and forwarded to the applicable embassy. The only numbers listed on this letter is our case number and USCIS receipt number (WAC#). I wonder if I should have my husband call USCIS to get clarification before we submit his AOS and Work Auth. form. Or...maybe assignment of an alien number depends on where the applicant resided at the time of filing the I-129F?

It should be there, doesn't matter where it was filed, where they lived. It should be right by the beneficiarys name in a format like A - 000000000

Check the passport also, the k1 visa can have that. I don't remember having my a number there, but it's worth checking.
