Good morning all, just checking in to see if anyone with September Scan Dates have received a case complete yet? My scan date is September 30, 2016. So that means tomorrow makes exactly 5 weeks. I was told to call on Monday which will put me in the 6th week and I can request to be put into supervisor's review. It seems they are extremely backed up and going into supervisor review is the only option at this point. THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS A BETTER SYSTEM!!!!!

Something is totally not right. There are way too many people that is in the same boat. Either they are just taking their sweet time, or there are not enough people to review these cases. It's absurd. I was hoping to have by husband here with me for Christmas and it doesn't seem like that is going to be the case.

Tbh I been calling them everyday since week 5. First they told me that i have to wait 6 weeks now she says that i have to wait the week to be over like i dont understand why they say 6 weeks when they take more than 6. I just cant wait for this to be over, a week turns into a month for me right now

Call them on Fridays. Most cases are completed and information logged before the weekend. Call after 6pm EST. There's usually supervisors available for night shifts. They will tell you at first that there's none available but demand to speak to someone. Call back again immidately and ask. They will get you one after 2 requests. Lol! I did that and found one I speak to often now, he even calls me to update me. Good luck.

This is helpful information. Thank you so much. Next week makes y 6 weeks so I will be sure to try what you suggested in speaking to a supervisor. This is such a rough process at this stage I though things would be easy!

I have the same scan date as you, and I agree... what makes it worse is the USCIS wait combined with this puts me at damn near a year waiting. Jan 28th is when they received my original i130 at potomac...

DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) is what screwed us all. There was an article about 2 years ago (also 2 years after DACA's introduction) that had numbers of I130s approved before and after DACA, and how backed up USCIS was because of this monstrosity... Basically, all "children" under 31 years old arrived here illegally, get to go in line in front of us who try to do things legally.

I always suggest to speak to a supervisor first before going in the queue so that you'll know whom to follow-up. They just pile it up there with no follow up.

My scan date is September 13th. They put me on supervisor's review since October 25th. They said supervisor's review takes 6 weeks or even more. Still heard nothing yet.
