Hi, When my fiancée entered our country; the border patrol/immigration officers took all of our forms. The I-129a accetance was in there. We need one to file for AOS. Any thoughts on what we should do ?

Unless you are willing to pay I-824 replacement fee $405 for the I-129F NOA2, you could do the following for AOS:

Submit:

- National Visa Center letter, stated that the I-129F was approved and that the petition will be forwarded to the consulate.
- US Consulate processing K1 visa letter
- my K1 visa stamp & I-94 entry stamp
- USCIS website case status online print out, showing the I-129F was approved.
- NOA1, receipt to show that you did file for the I-129F petition
- USCIS case status update emails

We did not get I-129F NOA2 letter at all.

And I AOS-ed just fine.

There are also others filing without the NOA2, and have no issues with AOS.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

We recently just filed for AOS without a NOA-2 and sent in exactly what Merry advised other than the NVC letter since that seems to have mysteriously disappeared as well..

I know I personally had a panic attack after tearing my apartment apart looking for that NOA-1, finding out that I could use the NVC letter in it's place, and then realizing we did not have that either.

Just provide what you can from Merry's list, as best as possible.
