I just got approved 10 days ago, I have not gotten any letters as the updates just came yesterday and today, I got my approval notice on the 30th of April. The updates say it will take 30 days for them to mail out the notices, but by the time I get my notices, I will probably have gotten my green card.

So I would recommend to log out of VJ and go for a walk, have a glass of wine with a friend or movies, or whatever what would take your mind out of it and enjoy your approval instead of worrying! Just check your mail daily :) I bet your GC will show up soon

I do not feel safe until I get my card. My case is still pending and my friend case was approved over a month ago but still did not get his card. He is worried that thing maybe changes since it has been over one month.

Have you read actual approval letter? Your GC might take up to 60 days. 1 month is 30/31. Don’t stress

It doesn't really mean anything. I was approved on 4/26/2018, I even got an approval notice in the mail, and I got the same update as yours yesterday. 3 or 4 751 applicants in different state all got the same update yesterday too. Sounds like a system update. I would not read too much into it.

I agree. That this is the best explanation of those transfers even though hard transfer copies were recieved. I say that because i had an interview long time ago and when i make any inquiry i get a response from local office but the transfer notice i got was from california, and a tier 2 officer confirmed today that my case is still at local office. But who knows what's going on. Everybody that got this transfer notice got an identical notice, all from california, all transfered to NBC, all dated may 1st, maybe more glitches coming in the mail. And a mixture of applicants from different months some filed N400, some didn't, some waivers, some joint and even some who had interview or being approved. This transfer means LESS than nothing, it's less than a glitch. Good luck to you and to all and congrats on approval and very sorry to hear about the passing of your husband

I think the letter might still be on the way or maybe it got lost. But take my word for it, the letter is not much to look at and gives you no comfort, the alert change of status email you got was much more exciting and had more details in it

Good idea actually. Thanks. My green card will come whenever it arrives, I also have to go to the oath and lose my eligibility as my husband whom I knew for 21 years passed 3 days after the 400 interview. I will apply for 400 again next August. Anyway, I am already grateful that I got approved. Hope you will get approved soon too.

Thank you for your condolences. I totally agree, all these updates really don't say much about the process of adjudication. We just have to be patient, even for folks like me who have been approved.

Hello @conrad88, When you say separated, did you mean living apart because of work or school ? Or, are you guys going through a divorce ? If it is the latter, USCIS has to be notified when you respond to a RFE. Include your divorce decree if you have it as well

Thanks for your reply!!! We are living apart for work, had some conflict we are trying to work out by giving each other some space, but not divorce...

We do have joint bank statement from 2016 but decided we dont like joint account so we close it - should i include that?

When did you close the accoun? Did you keep it open for a long period of time? Sent as many statements as possible.

Additionally if you can send in supporting documents to show you are working on moving back in togeather in the future.
