So very sorry to hear about your husband. My condolences. Since you have your oath date, it means you have proved bona fide marriage for which you have received the citizenship. I do not see why you'd lose your eligibility.

I unfortunately will because it is the law, 319 section A says American citizen spouse dies before or after the applicant filing for 400 will result the loss of eligibility. The policy manual also says the same thing if the American citizen spouse dies any time before the applicant takes the oath of allegiance, the applicant will lose the citizenship eligibility unless they override it and approve me which I think it is highly unlikely. Thanks for your condolences. I just want this to be over, I will use my green car to re apply for 400 next August.

Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On May 8, 2018, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number WAC17034xxxxx, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by June 7, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators. If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.

It doesn't really mean anything. I was approved on 4/26/2018, I even got an approval notice in the mail, and I got the same update as yours yesterday. 3 or 4 751 applicants in different state all got the same update yesterday too. Sounds like a system update. I would not read too much into it.

Got another update even though I was approved. Any of you got this update saying your case has been transferred to a NEW office(Lee Summit, Missouri)that has the jurisdiction over my case..

Most likely a system update. Please share.

It’s not a system update. Tons of fillers reported receiving a letters through the mail conforming it. They don’t send actual letters for system updates and glitches.

They actually do, I talked to 3 USCIS officers who told me they are most likely updates and glitches. My 751 was already approved, and I have a hard copy of the approval. Now the office in Missouri has my jurisdiction. USCIS told me to disregard it since I was approved. When they do an update like that, they probably have to generate mail, but these updates are "initial review". After almost 2 years of waiting m, now updates are back to initial review? Just because you get something in the mail, doesn't mean it is not a glitch. I will probably get two notices in the mail after I get my green card.

I also spoke to a few officers who tried to convince me I waived application fees ( which I did not), or that my case is transferred to local office ( and it’s definitely not, confirmed through infopass) or that all 751 require in person interviews ....... but all of them had a solid opinion that you can only take for a FACT a physical letter in the mail whatever it is: transfer, interview notice, rfe

Also there is a clear pattern: majority of combo cases got transferred, some waivers, barely any joint fillers. It’s definitely does not looks like “local office” update that we ALL got some time ago ( without any letters to confirm it, without any pattern) so yea, no way it’s a random glitch/update

I already got my approval notice and I am still getting updates, I guess the the case will be no longer active until the green card is mailed. All these updates really don't mean much I guess because many of 751 applicants seem to be getting the same update, i confirmed it with a few friends through out the county too.

But how do you explain my situation? I am already approved and I am still being transferred? I already did my 400 interview, and my 751 was approved. I know my cases are not being transferred to anywhere. They also scheduled my 400 oath. My field office is in Los Angels. My case was also a combo. Unless the office in Missouri is the process of producing my green card, but no way it is back to "Initial review". But I do agree the people who did the combo all have gotten the same message, and one officer did tell me they have been transferring all 751 cases to local offices. Whether they are glitches or not, I think it means very little as to whether those updates are signs that the applicants are getting close to finishing line. Kind of meaningless updates anyway as field office processing time could take 2 to 4 years according to the new processing time.

It does not mean much unless you getting A PHYSICAL letter in the mail confirming it. Have you got a transfer letter? ( not status?) Have you recived your Green card?

I just got approved 10 days ago, I have not gotten any letters as the updates just came yesterday and today, I got my approval notice on the 30th of April. The updates say it will take 30 days for them to mail out the notices, but by the time I get my notices, I will probably have gotten my green card.
