Our I-751 Package was delivered to the VSC PO Box today by the USPS. Now let's see how long it takes for them to acknowledge receipt. I enclosed an email Notification Form.

Day 174 05-11-2018 Oath Ceremony at Fort Smith USCIS.

Hi,

We are November flier also. We have received our Notice of Action (I-797) in the mail today. So I am extremely happy about that. But I am a little confuse as to why only my wife name is the petitioner on the application. We had file as a joint petition (we are still happily married) and perhaps this is a bit different from when I petitioned for my wife K1 visa, in which I was the petitioner.

Is it normal for joint petition to only list my wife name (whom I had sponsor before for K1)? Or is it something that I should worry about? Also, when would we expect the biometric appointment? Thank you!

for I-751, your wife is the petitionary and for I-485/K1, You (USC) are petitionary and your wife is beneficiary. So yes the I-797 should only have your wife name.

When did you send your package, So I can add you in the list.

I would say 4-6 weeks from your NOA1 date to biometrics.

When did you send your package and which service center so I can add in the group?

Biometrics depends on service center since recently VSC has been slightly faster than CSC based on recent VJ member filers.

Thanks for the info! That is good to know that everything is as it should be.

We filed the I-751 at the CSC office since we lived in Washington state now. We send our application out on November 14th 2016 and the receipt date on the NOA1 letter was November 17th 2016 (but we received the letter today Nov 21 2016). We will update you guys when we receive our biometrics appointment.

I just received my NOA1 today dated 11/17 for CSC, it says they extended my GC for 1 year while processing my removal of condition. I sent my package last 11/15, Check was cleared and now waiting for biometrics. Good luck to everyone ?.

HI everyone.

I have done some math for you all who are filing at Vermont Service Centre only. If you are keen to find out when your biometrics appointment will be based on the date you sent your i-751 off, use this equation for an estimate. y = 0.9739x + 42.41. The R-Square value for the equation is up at 0.9834 so it is pretty accurate. The error in the final value is at 1.44 so you can plus or minus 1.44 days from your final answer to give you the date range for your biometrics.

Example:

I am sending my package off today, 21 November 2016. This is the 326th day of the year.

So for the 326th day of the year, the calculation will be y = (0.9739 multiplied by 326) plus 42.41 = 368.41.

There were 366 days in 2016. Because my calculated number 368.41 is bigger than 366, I know this means my biometrics will be in 2.41 days into 2017. If I plus and minus the error of 1.44 onto this I get day 0.97 or day 3.85 into 2017. Rounded up for simplicity, my biometrics will hopefully be some time between 1 January and 4 January 2017.

This might be helpful for those who are planning holidays and vacations around Christmas and New Year.

Hello I sent the I-751 on 11/16/2016 to remove conditions on my wife's greencard. The California service center received my package on 11/17/2016. Now the waiting begins.

Hi Guys,

I finally got my noa1 in the mail yesterday, I just picked up my mail today and found my letter, my noa1 Date is November 14, California Service Center got my package on November 12th but I sent my packager on November 5th, it took a week for usps to deliver my package.

NOA1...........................August 30th, 2013

NOA2...........................April 15th, 2014

uscis sent my case......April 21th

NVC got my case.........May 2nd

Case Number & INN.....May 27th

DS261 Completed.......June 4th

AOS fee paid.............. June 5th

AOS pack sent............June7th

AOS pack scanned.....June13th

IV pack resent.............July 18th (we sent it one week after aos pack but mail retorned to my husband office)

IV pack scanned.........July 21th

IV fee paid...................July 23th

DS260 Completed.......July 24th

AOS checklist..............July 25th

Checklist correction....July 26th

Checklist scan............July 31th

2nd Checklist and Ds260 accepted...September 12th

2nd Checklist correction.....................September 15th

My husband talked with the senator.......September 19th
