I-751 November 2016 Filers

Hi I am Nov 2016 filer and my application date is 11/04/2016, NOA date is 11/09/2016. My case status is Feb 26 transfered to local office which is a glitch I guess and nothing updates after that. Only every week I receive a email saying they are still reviewing my case and nothing I need to do.  Could someone put me in the above table? I don't know how to edit that. Thank you very much!

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On April 12, 2018, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WA..."

 

as my last status, however https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov shows

April 18, 2018

We approved your case

Read the notice we mailed you for more information

If you do not receive your notice by May 18, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

 

 

And I did receive the notice of approval in the mail. So check on both, because they seem very glitchy and not always up to date.

 

 

PS: does anybody know the different names for those sites I quoted? Is is ELIS and? I found the second one by chance while filing the n400 online and it is the one that has more detailed information for me.

I got a status saying that my N400 was approved BEFORE I got the approved status for my I751 (that's when I called them, to see if it was a glitch and funny enough they said that yeah, it was probably a glitch cause I can't have an approved N400 without having the ROC approved). In fact, I just posted and I had the "your case was transferred" and I even received the letter in the mails saying it was transferred to the NBC, however... just a few days later, less than a week later, like I said, I got my approval. So think positive, everything will get done soon. I know it's frustrating, but don't trust too much the system status or even the officers on the phone. You are almost there.

Thank you -  It just throws all planning awry.   Since they give you an extension of only six months!

My lawyet told me not to apply for N-400 as that sometimes throws your case in a bureacratic mess although many folks do get approved for both together. In the city I live in, they do not approve both together and it is best to avoid confusion with USCIS. I got a notice on May 1 saying my case is approved and hoping that means the GC will be mailed soon,

Hi all i have been following this forum for a while and my NOA is November 25, 2016 and my Receipt Number (CRI-89) WAC17037****. As @JimyAnita said i went to  https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov  and logged into check my status and got this( with I-751 WAC number). Did anyone else get something like this? I haven't received anything by mail yet. so i submitted a case inquiry as suggested

I'm on exact same boat as you. NOA1 11/09 and still waiting... Some other early Novembers filers like Michelle13 are waiting too. I will add you in the table.

I got that. I confirmed that it is in the local office. Your out of normal processing times is 180 days from February 26th .

Hi fellow Nov'16 filers,

 

First time posting but have been following this thread for updates for a while. Just wanted to let you know that my case was approved this morning.

 

NOA: 11/09/2016.

Approved: 05/02/2018.

 

I can't remember the date for biometrcis and those papers are deep down in storage by now... but just thought I'd let you all know about the approval. I have not yet applied for N400. Don't want 45th's baby like signature on my citizenship diploma so that will have to wait for a few years. 

 

For everyone still waiting - they seem to be moving fast in November. Hang tight.

thanks for replying MHZ, California service center seems to be moving relatively fast now, why would they do something like that? I graduated  from college last august and haven't been able to apply for jobs because of this reason. This really sucks. Is there anybody else in texas  who got case transferred to the local office?

I asked that very same question. They said that the most likely reason is

1. Your case requires an interview to proceed.

2. There are too many cases in CSC and they need to reduce the load of officers so they can work on cases that cannot be handled by the local offices.

My case status changed to 'Your case was Approved' in DHS website along with 'Your card is in Production'. Is this what you got as well?
