There are various sites that you can find that will decipher the receipt numbers, but basically: Example: WAC 17 040 50011 WAC = CSC 17 = Fiscal year they received the case  - "17" Fisc

After over a year of filing the I-751 my husband received the letter of approval. We were not asked to interview as we provided as much information as possible. No immigration officers at our house. F

Finally got my approval! Notice date April 21st :)

Our story...

Met online in 2006. Visited in 2007 for three months, found out I was pregnant.

Married June 2014 (L)

Adjustment of Status

Sep-26-2014 (Day 0) Sent I-130 and I-485 to Chicago via USPS Express Mail

Sep-29-2014 (Day 3) AOS Delivered

Oct-03-2014 (Day 7) Checks processed, texts with NoA

Oct-08-2014 (Day 12) Hard copy NoA in mail

Oct-14-2014 (Day 18) Biometrics Appointment letter for 10/21/2014

Oct-21-2014 (Day 25) Biometrics completed

Oct-27-2014 (Day 31) I-485 changed to Testing and Interview

Nov-03-2014 (Day 38) Interview letter received for December 4th!

Dec-04-2014 (Day 69) Interview, approved on the spot.

Dec-05-2014 (Day 70) I-485 status card production ordered/I-130 approved.

Congrats CoTL, Did your online status change as well on uscis or egov uscis? My NOA1 is also 11/09 but haven't heard anything...

I haven't checked anything since biometrics as I lost my biometrics letter. I just hoped it would come through and I've been following this thread. 536 days!!!!! Took 77 days for my original GC.

Interesting pattern... October fillers statistics shows majority approval came in 1 year and 6 months mark, some took 1 year and 7 months. 

In November it switched to majority got approved in 1 year and 5 months and for others it took 1 year and 6 months 

there is a lot of people in both threads with no update whatsoever - could be that they just don't post on VJ anymore or indeed still waiting. 

By my rough estimate, CSC speeded up for 1 month comparing past 2 months activity which is a good sign for those who still waiting. I'm an early December filler and sitting here anxious and probably driving myself crazy at this point as I want to go on urgent travel yet worry if they would start processing December 2016  in May and what if I haven't filled out petition properly and got denied while away and other what ifs... ugh

In fact in one of the online systems it doesn't show yet that I have been approved, although I received the letter (I received 3 identical letters). Presumably and for the little we know from online status, "my green card is in production" and "I'm in line for the oath", with both cases approved, but at this point I know that anything can happen. In fact I received today a notice that they tried to deliver a certified letter. It will arrived in the post office tomorrow. For what I've read, it's bad news. Good news never come on a certified letter. So I will have to wait and see what it is.

yes, it feels so close but not insight... always tell myself, it is not over until it is over...

I'm early December filer too, this kind of long waiting did give me anxiety. I didn't get chance visiting home for 4 years, this year I finally have enough vacation days to take but still waiting on this process which supposed to be completed last Sept.

Also I filed N400, I guess very likely CSC will leave it to be adjudicated along with N 400. My N 400 has no update since bio-metrics on 2/5/2018.

My NOA-1 is Nov. 22, 2016 and I still haven't heard anything. It's been slightly over 1 year and 5 months now. I will get to 17.5 months waiting only next week.

It seems that they are still working on 17040 cases. I did not apply for N-400.

17040 cases -  based on CR89 number correct? I wonder what’s the digits past 4 means? 

I feel like they going through begging / mid November cases and moving faster compare to the previous months.

Thank you for a link and excuse my ignorance but I’m a little bit confused as I saw at other threads people use CR89 number (the one that started to work just recently showing “recieved at local office”) this one is 17048...... ( last status 62 days ago) 

And i-751 number ( original number that worked since day 1, last status 510 days ago) is 17073.....

 

So if they currently working on 17040.... cases, then I have to wait all the way until 17073.... correct? Any idea how long that would take? (33 to go?)

Btw not sure if I congratulate you with your approval yet, but congratulations (again?) you’ve been very helpful!!! :)
