First of all, congratulations to all who got motion on their cases.

Second,  USCIS tell me that cases transferred to the local office do not follow the timeline on the website for CSC. Instead we should estimate up to 6 months from the transfer date.

So if your case was transferred on 2/25, you should have it processed by no later than 8/25.

So instead of expecting something by end of May like CSC estimates say, we should add 3 months on top of that for a max.  If nothing happened by then, an inquiry for exceed normal processing time needs to be filed.

I was on 04/11. :jest:

I first received notification on April 11 that my new card was being produced, then on April 12 saying my case was approved. A little backwards...lol

On February 25th and 26th, I received a notice saying my case was transferred to the local office. Since I hadn't received a notice in the mail by March 28th,  I sent them an inquiry to make sure they had the correct mailing address. I received an email yesterday from California Service Center, and they indicated that my case was approved on 4/11 and the California Service Center has ordered the production of my Permanent Resident Card, and would receive it within 45 days (clearly my case wasn't transferred to the local office). As some people had mentioned, it seems there was a glitch with their system, and it sent mass notifications even though cases weren't transferred.

Congrats and thank you for sharing. Your case proves what the officer told me on the phone in March when I was trying to check where is my case, he said they are upgrade their system so the mass transfer I saw is just a glitch and I should not use that receipt # to check status, only use the receipt number on bio-metrics.

For a few cases reported on VJ that a physical mail was received for the transferring to other service center, those are the real transfer.

I guess that's why you got your approval from CSC. I'm Dec. 2016 filer and I do believe my case is still in CSC.

So... today I received a letter saying my ROC was transferred to National Benefits Center. I was sort of bummed but then I received an update on my Naturalization saying that the Oath Ceremony will be scheduled (Along with: "We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review.")

This is still so blurry and weird, because the last status for the ROC is: "We transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, to another USCIS office that now has jurisdiction over your case."

That's correct. Received vs transferred.

It seems as if those that received a "transferred" message were indeed transferred (with a letter sent to them), whereas those that have a "received" message are still at CSC and the message was merely a move from one place to another, within CSC.
