What does the website say for your office?  https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/#mainContent

Never saw this one before. But that is a good thing, right?

Only one thing I can get from here is that they have not lost my 11 lbs file.

There are various sites that you can find that will decipher the receipt numbers, but basically:

Example: WAC 17 040 50011

WAC = CSC

17 = Fiscal year they received the case  - "17" Fiscal year runs Oct 1st 2016 - September 30th 2017.

040 = This is the 40th "computer working day" from Oct 1st. The day they entered it into system.

50011 - Last 5 are the case number - in the example it represents the 11th Case entered that day.

That's basically it. Hope it helps you decipher your receipt number.

Although we have my 10 year green card (May 2016 filer - approved November 2016 no interview - things were faster then!!!) - my mother-in-law is a Nov 2016 filer so I keep an eye on this topic.

Regards,

Chris.

Hi CB&RB,

Thank you so much for deciphering the receipt number. So is it the number on the bio-metrics or it's the receipt number on our NOA?

Any November cases approved yet.

I was on 04/11. :jest:

I first received notification on April 11 that my new card was being produced, then on April 12 saying my case was approved. A little backwards...lol

On February 25th and 26th, I received a notice saying my case was transferred to the local office. Since I hadn't received a notice in the mail by March 28th,  I sent them an inquiry to make sure they had the correct mailing address. I received an email yesterday from California Service Center, and they indicated that my case was approved on 4/11 and the California Service Center has ordered the production of my Permanent Resident Card, and would receive it within 45 days (clearly my case wasn't transferred to the local office). As some people had mentioned, it seems there was a glitch with their system, and it sent mass notifications even though cases weren't transferred.

Approvals in WAC17045xxxxxxx now. :jest:

Hi, can you please clarify, you referring WAC17045 number to the original  NOA number that we all got right after filling, or the WAC number that started working just recently showing "received at local office" glitch?

The latter... I-751, not CRI-89 (biometrics).

The number that you can check can be found on your biometrics appointment letter, circled in red on my picture below.

My husband's greencard is enroute and tracking says it will arrive TOMORROW ! Our NOA date was Oct 31, 2016
