Word from the September thread is that August is only 64% complete.

Also, note the quote below

Most of the Aug 2016 ROC  filers that are still waiting have filed concurrently N-400.

It seems that their cases have been transferred to field office who will review both I751 and N400 but their processing times are now linked to field office N-400 processing times. CSC not in play anymore”

That seems to be the case.

Meanwhile, Feb 17 VSC filers are starting to get approved...! LOL

Hi fellas ,

well, last update about my case is ;

i applied , November 3rd 2016,  then got RFE in November 13 th2017  something, then responded to that request in December 17th 2017 . Finally today I gave up on endless waiting and decided to give a call to them . And guess what?  They claim that they did not receive anything...

The tier 2 officer meant that in a nice polite way;

A) u didn’t send anything lol 😂 just lying (no I am not)

b) we lost it  ( obviously)

c) we got it but may be it is not updated on the system yet. ( well, idk what to say)

D) can you send everything again ? ( no I don’t have the copies of everything and you guys ask me to send only original documents)

e) do you have tracking number as proof that you have sent? ( yes certified , signatures I do )

After all these dialogues I was told that to write a letter with a little storyline and include a copy of tracking history information to send it over to uscis. Then just WAIT again ...

i hinestly dk ####### else I can do after that point ... if you have a similar story like you alreday submitted documents to respond to rfe and waiting almost for 2 months and heard nothing yet, I suggest you guys to give it a shot  and call , it hurts a lot when you found out that you were waiting for nothing ...

good of luck to everyone 👍

I'm sorry to hear that.  Nothing worse then realizing you're waiting on nothing :( In general it's always wise to make a copy of everything you send to USCIS.  I too have been asked to resubmit documents I had already sent them previously.  That way it's just a quick print and pop in the mailbox.

That was my bad that I have been lazy to go get new ink cartridge for the printer at home . So I could print only pain in the butt documents to get ,  at first. But at this point I have the tracking information which says delivered & signatured  . Idk they can reach it or they will ask me to resubmit everything again ... hopefully they won’t , they will somehow find it somewhere over there

i guess i just gotta keep waiting at this point but only waiting.

Hello,

Please advice me if anyone here had experience in this problem.

I applied for my I-751 in November 2016. Then I applied for my N-400 in November 2017. And I just received my N-400 interview letter (about 2 months after sending my application) today. But I still have not received my 10 year green card yet. I remember I read some where that I will get an interview for my I-751 on the same date of N-400 interview. Should I go by myself or I have to go with my husband?

Thank you!

I’m a late October filler also, I got the RFE on October 28th and sent the new package on January 5th, I have heard of them losing packages and called last week, Tier 2 said he will send a request to the officer who has my case and ask if they got the package, he said I’ll get an answer within three weeks.... I’m freaking out!!!

wow!!! less than one month for your interview, good luck!!!!

I just received my interview letter today after 2 months sending my N-400 application. Are you going to the interview by yourself? Do you think you should go with your spouse incase they need an interview for I-751 to approve it first?

My husband and I are going together just Incase they’ll do an interview on my ROC. When is your interview? Mine is on the 14th of Feb. Best of luck 😊

Mine will be on March 5th. Do you think ROC interview will be easy? And do we have bring anything with us beside all required documents?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to share what's been going on with my case lately.

I'm still waiting to hear back on my i-751 case since the fingerprint appointment in 12/2016.

Tired of waiting, I e-filed N-400 at the end of December 2017. I went to my fingerprint appointment on 01/22/2018.

Yesterday I just received an email update saying they have scheduled my interview! Even though I'm still not able to view the letter to see when and where this interview will be, I'm so thrill that things are moving in a much faster pace compared to the ROC process.

I'm lucky for being able to afford and apply for citizenship, but for those that for a reason or another do not want to or cannot apply, well, I feel your pain!

Now, March 2017 VSC filers are starting to get their responses! They are so lucky.

I-485 (AOS)

04/01/2015 Sent Form I-485.

05/06/2015 Scheduled the interview and mailed its notice.

06/16/2015 The Post Office picked up mail containing the new card.

06/16/2015 The 2 years Green Card was mailed to me.

06/18/2015 The 2 years Green Card in hand.

I-751 (ROC)

03/13/2017 Sent I-751 documents to CSC.

03/14/2017 Package received.

03/16/2017 Check cashed.

03/??/2017  NOA received.

03/14/2017 NOA dated.

03/27/2017 Biometrics. "walked-in"

02/26/2018 Case transferred to my local office.

05/01/2018 Case transferred to another office.

05/03/2018 Case transferred to another office.

05/07/2018 Received letter in mail, my case was transferred to NBC. "Letter's date is 05/01/2018"

06/05/2018 Received letter in mail, they will do an interview at the same time, date and location of my N-400 interview. "06/21/2018"

06/21/2018 The combo interview (with N-400 interview). But it's still pending until they send me the result of this interview.

06/27/2018 The case was approved, with the N-400 approval.

06/30/2018 Received the approval letter in mail.

N-400 (Under 3 Years Rule)

04/02/2018 Applied for N-400 Online. (I-751 is still pending)

04/02/2018 Received NOA Online (Received in mail on 4/03/18).

04/27/2018 Biometrics.

05/14/2018 Scheduled the N-400 interview.

06/21/2018 Interview's date.

Passed the English test and the U.S. history and government test.

But: A decision cannot be made yet about my application. The reason is my pending I-751 file!

06/27/2018 The case was approved (with the I-751 approval), and placed me in line for oath ceremony.

07/09/2018 Oath Ceremony was scheduled.

07/20/2018 Oath Ceremony.

U.S. Citizen and proud!

Absolutely!

And rightfully so, since they're at 11 months if you think about it! I'm just numb from the wait, but glad I filed for citizenship in the meantime.
