The only time I received a text/email is when my card was in production. For the approval I received a letter

Does anyone know what CSC is actually processing? I feel they should be processing September or October by now.

California Service Center (43 applicants, 5 approved - 12%)

 

Some lucky ones here will get approved next month!

 

Do you think holidays slow things down in approvals?? Wonder how many days off those officers get in December/January.

I can confirm, they're processing the beginning of August. I have a friend (not on VJ) who just received the update message from USCIS, and he's an early August CSC filer.

Hi All,

 

I am also a 2016 Early November filer. I recently got my i-551 stamp and getting tired of the wait applied for naturalization 6 weeks ago. I had my biometrics done last week and now currently waiting on both. I also can not track my greencard case online due the case status website giving me errors. I asked the uscis officers about the issue and a status update while I was getting my stamp but they were not able to look up the case status either...

We received our I-797 Approval Letter today. It took 358 days total. Also filed our N-400 online today.

Well we   have got  an RFE   today!  Better  than nothing right ?  At least  we  are  sure now  that somebody  looked  at our  case !

Hi everyone here from portland oregon. My husband went to his info pass since his letter expired November 8th 2017. He was told by the officer that he didnt need a stamp until January 31 2018 the expiration date from his green card, he was also told that alot of people are going in to get their stamp based on the letter when it should be based on the green card. The officer also said something about him getting his card in January. Our hopes are not up and are just waiting for anything in the mail.

 

We are November 2016 filers and our package was sent to California service center. Happy thanksgiving to you all and hope the waiting games will be over soon.

Its not importan when you will get your stamp. I got mine on expiration letter date. If you are traveling out of state and you are not able to recive your green card you should report that to imigration officer and you'll get your stamp no matter what.

Thanks Nikkosan. Yes, the ROC process was the one that gave the most stress. Now on to the N-400 process. I can't believe they are quoting a ECD of 19 months. Damn ridiculous!
