True.

Ultimately, it's just a waiting game (within reason).

I have question for you. Did you checked processing time for naturalization? i saw you filed paperwork already and you have biometrics scheduled already. i wanted to file as well but processing time after biometrics is also 1 year. Same waiting process for n-400 and I-751 its unbelievable

Yes, I did check. My estimate given on the USCIS control panel is March 2019. I have read in multiple places NOT to pay attention to that. Ultimately, even if it takes the 6-7 months I've been reading about (for my local office), I'm happy; the 10-year green card was never my goal anyway!

F-1 Visa: Academic years 2007/2010.

K-1 Visa: I-129F sent Aug 2013; Approved Jan 2014.

Green Card: AOS sent Feb 2014; Approved Jan 2015.

Removal of Conditions: I-751 sent Nov 2016; Approved Apr 2018.

US Citizenship: Application sent Nov 2017; Fingerprints Nov 2017; Civics/English exam March 2018; Oath May 2018.

I can tell from Informed Delivery that I am receiving something from USCIS today, but I probably won't be able to get to it before tonight. How can you guys tell from the envelope if it's an approval? NOA1 is 11/7.

did you get approval letter???

Hi guys! I received my roc this Tuesday. They need more evidence. I’m getting ready all the papers to file them on Saturday. Does anybody knows after filing the documents when can I receive an answer?

I filed all my

hey guys quick question

so when your extension letter expire, did your employer ask for other proof for employment authorization?

I am thinking about getting i551 stamp bc my letter was dated nov 15th, but closest office is 3 hours away :(

Just checking to see how everyone experience was with employer when ROC pending + extension letter ...

Thanks!!!

They never ask me either, my GC expired last year, I have been working part time with my company and decided to get a full-time job with them last Sept. but they never ask me for anything. I think our Driver's License and SSN are good enough to get a confirmation that we are eligible to work in the USA.

Unfortunately I haven't got my i551 stamp, too hard to get a schedule, I've been trying for weeks, and my letter of extension is expiring on Nov11, I hope I am still ok to work with an expired extension letter.

@Favoured1 Congrats! Can you share with us which field office (i.e. your hometown) are you filing from? Also, was your letter signed by Laura Zuchowski and what was the address below her signature?

So I am waiting on my ROC, but I applied online for my Naturalization. At first when I applied it said that it would take till like July or so. I checked the status yesterday and I noticed they said they transfered my case to another office and they will send a letter explaining why and the timeline also changed and it says it would take 12 months (November 2018). Also that they scheduled my biometrics (although, I see the status but the letters are not showing in the documents just yet).
