Hello guys ! My letter is about to expire on Nov.14. I tried to schedule and infopass appointment in the last two weeks in my local office and every time the page  says there is no appointments available for the next two weeks. 

any advice ? What happens if I am unable to get the infopass appointment before my expiration date ?

Nothing...unless you are planning on travelling or need proof of status for some other purpose.

Some people do, some people receive an interview. RFE is normally dependent on whether you sent enough evidence for your case or could be something simple like you forgot to sign the form.

Received approval letter today in the mail. Vermont Service Center. Date of Decision: 10/17/17. New GC should be here within 60 days. 

 

Question: I will be eligible for citizenship soon. Should I apply for citizenship with photocopy of CR1 card or wait for new GC with IR1 status? Please advise.

@Husband Wife Congrats my friend! Can you share with us the name of the person who signed your approval letter? Also, what city is in his/her address?

Personally I would wait for the card.   It probably takes a few days to a couple of weeks and it probably would cause confusion when you have been approved to use the old one. (it might not).  Its up to you really, just saying what I would do and CONGRATULATIONS!!  Enjoy!

I saw that you didn't have interview on AOS as well, right? I came on K1 visa and didn't have interview on AOS  and my NOA is Nov 3, I have not heard anything yet but I was expecting an interview. But, I see that you did not have interview on both of the application, That's good news. Hopefully I will hear something soon.
