After over a year of filing the I-751 my husband received the letter of approval. We were not asked to interview as we provided as much information as possible. No immigration officers at our house. F

HELP!

 

I just realized that i sent my application to wrong service center, I should have sent it to Vermont, and i sent it to California. Has anyone ever had this happen and what should i do now ? Please help !

Hi everyone,

 

VisaJourney always has been so helpful. I will be filing my application now. I had a question.

So when you fill your name and your spouse name in Part 1 and Part 4 respectively, it automatically fills up Part-7 and Part-8.

My problem is that I don't have a middle name. If I don't fill the middle name, my name (initials) does not automatically appear in part-7. Since my spouse has middle name, his name (initials) come up in Part-8. How did you tackle this issue?

If you live in SC, your filing center is CSC, as per the government webpage. Doubt it would have gone through if you had made a mistake.

Added.

 

CSC is currently approving people that filed in May 2016 (veeeery slowly). This means approval at this specific service center is roughly 8 months out, and that's being very generous.

 

That's the whole timeline: filing, NOA1, biometrics, approval/denial (with or without potential RFEs and/or interview).

Hey all,

 

How is everyone renewing your Driver's  and ID? My GC expired 1/22/2017 and while filing taxes today i realize that it is the same for my driver's and ID!

 

Are we supposed to get a letter from USCIS that our extension is work in progress therefore will get a temp GC? Assuming this is then used to renew Driver's ID?

Day 113 - Jan 22 2015 : Interview at 7:30AM and was approved on the same day, received notification via email/text that application approved.

Day 118 - Jan 28 2015 : Received notification that Green Card has been mailed.

Day 120 - Jan 30 2015 : Received Green Card in the mail.

Day 89 - Feb 05 2020 : Had to take photo and finger prints again as system was down during interview and test (7:15 AM at same location as interview).

Day 89 - Feb 05 2020 : Received email and text from USCIS that Oath Ceremony date/time/location details has been mailed out.

Day 110 - Feb 26 2020 : Oath Ceremony (8:00 AM)!  🎉🎊🇺🇸 - Registered to vote + applied for U.S Passport!
