i-751 sent 22 November 2016

i-751 NOA 23 November 2016 (received letter in the mail on 28 November 2016)

Biometrics schedule for 27 December 2016 (apparently mailed on 28 November 2016 but still not received at my house in the mail)

I have not received any information in the post yet about the biometrics appointment. I was only able to get the information on the phone after some serious negotiation and some choice words about spending $590 for this. Has anyone else had a similar experience where it took weeks for the actual biometrics letter to arrive?

Had a successful early walk in for my biometrics today at the Santa Ana USCIS. I went in at 2:14pm and there was no line whatsoever. I was done in 15 minutes. So happy to be done with this in only 2 weeks since I've sent in my ROC application. Now the wait starts. I pray it goes as fast and smooth as it went so far.

I've added your info in the list above :)

Try to track down the letter. check with your local post office. You need to have it at your appointment. I would call them again and ask them what to do about your appointment if you don't get it in the mail.

I made an InfoPass appointment. Explained the letter must have been lost in the mail. The Immigration Officer prince the letter for me. Done. Thanks goodness. All set now.

Does my spouse need to attend the finger printing with me or is it just me?

Hello everyone,

I have been watching this thread in hopes of getting an idea of a timeline for my husband's ROC. We sent it in on November 25th by priority mail. As we live only a couple hundred miles from the California Service Center, it was delivered on November 26th, a Saturday. So I am assuming that they count it as received on the 28th. So far we have received nothing from USCIS. We did request a fee waiver, and I know those can take longer to process. But I am starting to wonder if I should worry that we haven't heard anything so far. Any thoughts?

9/1/2015: NVC Received NOA2 Package and have assigned a Case Number!
9/22/2015: Received PKT3... Finally..... Can now make appointment for Medical Examination

4/26/2016 Received 3 emails and 3 text with Acceptance of confirmation of 3 applications. NOA1 Date 4/25/2016 WHAT IS GOING ON CHICAGO? Took 10 days longer than last time to just receive mail

4/27/2016 Check is cashed. Still can't look up Receipt Numbers on Case Status online at USCIS.GOV WHAT IS GOING ON?????

5/25/2016 Walk in for a "junior" Biometrics for an 11 year old (supposedly not required). Oops wrote down the wrong day, appointment was for 5/23/2016. USCIS office was nice and accepted us 2 days late.

7/13/2016 Finally the Check Status Website worked. Approved EAD and AP. Website still not working on AOS Green Card Application. No email notification at all....

7/15/2016 Card for EAD mailed. Card is for both EAD and AP. Received 7/19/2016. Waiting now for AOS Interview or Green Card Approval

7/19/2016 The USCIS.GOV is now working for our AOS application. Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Seems others have access to USCIS.GOV Check Case now. Glitch fixed?

8/15/2016 I-485 Approved. Status now Card/Document Production

8/20/2016 GREEN CARD DELIVERED -118 Days K-2 Process complete, see y'all on Lifting Conditions board in a year or so

Great news! Happy for you it worked out smoothly! And good to know best practice is to make an infopass and they can provide you with the letter.

Your spouse doesn't need to come with you. I went by myself. You can try early walk in tomorrow after 2 pm.

I am tracking my case now on the USCIS case status website. I love that they send you sms and email when there's an update. The current status is fees were waived. However, I'm guessing that is a bug on their website since my check was cashed some time ago.

I wonder what was the fastest processing time for the CSC lately.

Sun, 11/27/2016 - 90 days before Green Card expiration on 2/25/2016
Tue, 11/29/2016 8:30 AM - Mailed out I-751 ROC petition to USCIS California Service Center
Wed, 11/30/2016 11:40 AM - USCIS California Service Center signed for receipt of petition
Fri, 12/2/2016 - Check cashed by the USCIS California Service Center per our online banking account
Sat, 12/3/2016 - Received NOA (one-year conditional resident status extension) in the mail with receipt date and time of 11/30/2016 at 19:29 (7:29 pm)
Fri, 12/9/2016 - Received biometrics appointment letter dated 12/3/2016 with appointment scheduled for 12/23/2016

Wed, 12/14/2016 2:14 PM - Successful early walk-in for my biometrics at the Santa Ana USCIS

Sat, 12/02/2017 3:06 AM - Received notification that my biometrics appointment was scheduled but the document showing the date and time has not yet been uploaded

Tue, 12/05/2017 - Biometrics Appointment Letter was uploaded to my USCIS account. Scheduled for 12/22/2017 at 8:00 am at USCIS Tustin

Day 4    11-24-2017  NOA1 hardcopy arrived in the mail

Day 25  12-15-2017  Biometrics Appointment at Ft Smith, AR ASC

Day 104 03-02-2018 Notified Interview Letter Sent.

Day 151 04-18-2018 Interview at Fort Smith, AR 

Day 174 05-11-2018 Oath Ceremony at Fort Smith USCIS.

Even I did a lot of work by myself but I end up apply thru an attorney due to uncertainty of handling the complex i751 abuse waiver. The package was delivered at CSC on Nov 18 but I haven't seen my check cashed until now.. not sure what happened and the attorney suggested to wait until Dec 9 to contact USCIS if the check is still not cashed or receive NOA by then. I saw a lot of people delivered later than mine at CSC but got NOA several days later after delivered date. I am wondering if anyone have any experience or knowledge of applying i751 thru attorney processed differently by USCIS compared with self-represented? Maybe apply thru attorney takes longer to receive NOA than self-represented cases? thanks..

You receieved your noa1 on nov 22 2016 and biometric appointment on nov 08 2016? How possible was that?

I completed my biometrics earlier in the month, sorry I never updated. As fate would have it, we all got a horrible stomach virus the day before my appointment. I didn't know how to change the appointment, so we made the 2 1/2 hour drive. I forgot that they take a new picture for your Green Card, what a dreadful mugshot I ended up with, lol! Oh well, done and the wait now begins.

Sep-26-2014 (Day 0) Sent I-130 and I-485 to Chicago via USPS Express Mail

Sep-29-2014 (Day 3) AOS Delivered

Oct-03-2014 (Day 7) Checks processed, texts with NoA

Oct-08-2014 (Day 12) Hard copy NoA in mail

Oct-14-2014 (Day 18) Biometrics Appointment letter for 10/21/2014

Oct-21-2014 (Day 25) Biometrics completed

Oct-27-2014 (Day 31) I-485 changed to Testing and Interview

Nov-03-2014 (Day 38) Interview letter received for December 4th!

Dec-04-2014 (Day 69) Interview, approved on the spot.

Dec-05-2014 (Day 70) I-485 status card production ordered/I-130 approved.
