Thanks! I wanted to have more time to get ready for the party LOL but I guess I could be ready early and go to my appointment with my hair and makeup done :dancing:

I would say, try Thursday but in the PM when they seem to be less busy.

You can point out that the appointment is for the day after, but that you have a commitment and it may be cutting it close. They're usually pretty accommodating, unless they're super busy.

Good luck!

P.S. You could also try a few days before, in case they're not flexible, and they tell you that you need to be there on THAT specific day.

After over a year of filing the I-751 my husband received the letter of approval. We were not asked to interview as we provided as much information as possible. No immigration officers at our house. F

Hi! I guess we belong to November filers as well. We sent our package on the 28th of November to VSC, and it was delivered on the 29th. We got our NOA1 today, dated November 30, though the check was cashed on December 2. Now we will just wait for the biomentrics appointment.

I sort of remember reading somewhere before that we can check the status of the application by inputting some number included in the Biometrics Letter.

Can someone provide me with the website and which number I should be looking for so I can see the updates on our case online?

Also what's next after the Biometrics appt? Is it true that not everyone gets an interview or did that change recently?

Also - I just checked my "case status" and it says

On November 3, 2016, we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received,We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case.

That would be the biometrics letter they sent in the mail right?? And what do you think they mean by "waiving the filing fee"?

Does anyone else's case say the same thing????
