I'm not a waiver filer. Actually I just created a DHS account and it says RFE received. I usually check case status on their website without having an account but that never updates. Maybe it will take very long that's why I received an extension letter in the mail last week to extend my status.

Ok good. Well at least you have a DHS acct now you can keep up with your account. I am not a waiver either. So we just have to keep waiting & praying for quick processing times.

I'm am also surprised why your DHS account does not say that your file has been transferred to NBC, other VJ users have said that they DHS accounts update to say "transfer status" when their files have been transferred to be scheduled for an interview.

Hey, no I still don't have my green card. I had to file the I-90 so I did on June 1.  I had a RFE for my ROC but I got approved without a interview.

No I have not filed the N-400. They waived my fees on the I-90 and can use the same biometrics from my ROC. I requested an expedite over the phone but haven't heard from them back the only update I see online is this:

It is really unfortunate. Pl be after them till you get your card. I don't know why they are taking such a long time for reissuance.

PIN number is shown on the infopass confirmation screen and it clearly "this is the only time we will provide you with your Personal Identification Number (PIN) - Keep your PIN and confirmation letter in a safe place in case you have to reschedule or cancel your appointment". I usually just take a photo of it so that I can always find it on my phone 😕

Hello guys, I'm an OCt 2017 I-751 filer. I'm reaching out to this thread since most of you went through this already since you all are 1 year ahead of me. Does anyone know for sure what this line means?

image.png.8602e3edaed50b630e5d2e4b571c890e.png

Ref: https://www.uscis.gov/n-400 (section: where to file)

I may have to be out of the country for work for a 1.5 months and that coincides with the initial 90 day window I can apply for N400. I live in the US and just happen to be traveling during that week. Is it saying that I cannot apply online? I could not find any other documentation elaborating more on this? I wonder if that statement goes along with the first statement about applying based on military service...Thought... anyone?

Thank you,

Dave

Hi Everyone,

If you don't have a USCIS account yet you should get one. I sent my RFE package July 31st and trough the account I was able to see that they received it and now it shows that card is being produced. The website is still mentioning the RFE. So information is definitely more accurate and faster trough the account.

It shows that received my package on August 1st and yesterday (August 13th) the process was approved.

Good luck everyone!

Hey @shradhak has your DHS status changed? Have your recieved an interview notice yet? I called uscis again yesterday and spoke to a t.2 rep to ask for a status on my case and to verify if there has been movement and he informed me my file is still in California and is still pending. I got an email notification saying no action has been taken on my case since june 21 the day they sent the rfe. I don't know if my status is suppose to change when they decide I need to be interviewed. When you went for your info pass did they say your file was transferred to your local office? Or was it still at the service center.

I did not ask the officer where the file was but on my DHS account it says it was transferred to another USCIS office for processing on July 5th. (RFE received by them on June 23rd). If yours is not transferred are you sure you need to interview? Maybe it gets approved without one?
