Approval of Green card, NOA Date Nov. 17, 2016!!! Woohoo! now on to N-400 and citizenship for my wife! Thanks to all for the support! Hopefully more to come!

After over a year of filing the I-751 my husband received the letter of approval. We were not asked to interview as we provided as much information as possible. No immigration officers at our house. F

Hi all. I'm in the process of replying to my RFC. They mentioned affidavits in the letter which I had already sent them with my earlier packet (notarized). How many more should I send them with my RFE? Kind of annoying to ask people for it since they have to get notary done etc.

If USCIS clear mentioned about it, I would include in the package just to avoid interview. Just ask your spouse family, your friends, neighbors. I know it's a hassle but much better than to go for the interview. I just had 1 affidavit from my friend since I knew it was secondary evidence.

Folks,

My husband works for DHS-USCIS. He has informed me that there have been a massive number of lay-offs in all departments of USCIS in the past few weeks. 

I would suspect this would cause more delays for processing. 

Let's hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

My I751 application was received on Nov 3 2016. Bio metrics on Dec 9 2016.

Interview scheduled on Dec 20 2017. RFE on Dec 28 2017 (Asked for tax transcripts from IRS). Submitted rfe on Jan 18 2018.

Case received at local office status on Feb 26,27,and March 5 2018 . same status on three diff dates.

Infopass appointment In April nothing useful. In the month May sent the online request for outside processing times. Not much useful answer though. Again infopass on June 12. lets c.

We both work in different states because both are having good careers. may be that is the reason for interview and rfe and delay stufffff. its kind of irritating ,annoying and stressful. But cant do much about it just keep on waiting.

I haven't applied for N400 yet. Taught of just finishing the Roc first.

I received an RFE 5/23/18, responded 6/4/18 (I got like 20 text messages that there was an update in my case, went to check in the system they said they received my response to their RFE). Now waiting again.

Hey guys,

I received an interview notice on June 4th. And my interview notice was updated the following day, for July 23rd. Also, I have a pending ROC. My ROC should be approved by then or I will have a double interview for ROC and N400, I plan on taking my wife and 2 year old daughter with me to the interview. Do you guys know the estimate of when to have an oath after the interview, how long does it take? I cant wait to finish this daunting long process. And good luck to all.

Yes they will give you tracking number. For me it took 7 days from the Approved date to GC in hand. Happy for you. Congratulations
