Hi guys,

 

I went in for my I-751 interview on 05/14. They did not approve me on the spot due to pending background check.

About a week later, 05/22, I got a notice saying "A new card is being produced"

Today, I checked my status and saw "CARD WAS MAILED TO ME"

 

I'm so happy that I'm almost done with this process - it has been a long journey.

Good luck to anyone that is still waiting, I'm sure you'll received the good news very soon!

Got the GC today in the mail -

• May 18th: Card is being produced
• May 21st: Approved case
• May 24th: Received approval letter in mail
• May 25th: Status changed to USPS and tracking number was posted
• May 29th: Received GC in mail

hi guys anyone has an update about cases transferred to lee summit mo

mi case is17038xxxxxx filed in november 7th 2016

case transferred to lee summit mo on may 8th i received the i797 notice for the transfer

n400 filed on november 8th 2017

biometrics done on december 21st 2017

If you file n400 while waiting for i751. Count up to 8 months from filing till your interview for the n400. That’s the usual timeline now. So all in it will be 20 months all in from i751 upto n400. That’s the usual timeline from what I’ve observe. So just wait within those time frame guys.

Hey guys,

I received Card Produced Status on regular uscis.gov yesterday but when I check uscisdhs.gov it still says 'Case Received'. I would think uscis dhs gov would update first and I'm using the case number from my bio-metrics. And on the case history, it says they received my case on 5/29..

 

Has anyone seen this pattern? I really hope this is not another glitch, getting sick of USCIS..

The letter I received yesterday said USCIS cannot give me estimate timeframe when my case will be completed and told me to just wait.. But the letter was dated May 22, 2018.  

Anyway hopefully they update USCIS dhs gov website link too or give me a physical approval letter. 

 

Been a so long journey and updating Chart made me happier seeing the progress..

You are approved! Congratulations. The DHS website will update the same information hopefully in the next few days for you. Mine happened the same way!

Yes, they will update the DHS website eventually to reflect your approval, card produced and card mail information. I didn't even receive an approval letter in the mail but i did receive my card 10 days after that card produced update was reflected on my USCIS account.  Actual card vs approval notice? I prefer the card honestly seeing as many people got the approval letter and yet haven't received their cards.

I have a question for those of you who were mailed their cards. Was the card delivered in the normal post, or did you have to go pick it up at the post office?

I just got an email from the USPS tracking system

It says:

 

Your package has a delivery exception. Your item is being held at the XXXXXXX post office at 3:11 pm on May 30, 2018. This is at the request of the customer.

 

Did anyone else see this?

Congratulations. I filed the same day as you but still nothing. I feel I am burnt out. My husband kicked me  out from the house and at that time I was an intern with 15 dollar/hour pay. Now literally I am mentally crazy and hope this green card got approved then I can safely stay here. I don't know when I can get approved and I am really anxious. ....

Did you file the Inquiry for Case outside normal processing time?
