After over a year of filing the I-751 my husband received the letter of approval. We were not asked to interview as we provided as much information as possible. No immigration officers at our house. F

yea it is. I will qualify to create a service request after a week, so will just wait on that..

when you used the tracker App, you can see that there are cases submitted at the end of Oct/2016 still not processed... which apparently, they all are outside of normal processing time and USCIS definitely know about that as we can see those cases, but they just didn't think to adjudicate them asap but rather wait for the petitioners to file for Inquiries?

I checked this morning and got the same message when I logged into My USCIS.

We are producing your card and will mail it to you

You do not need to do anything at this time

We will mail your Green Card, employment authorization document (EAD), or combo card (EAD and advance parole) to the address you gave us. It may take up to 120 days to deliver your new card.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

Yes, the card will come sooner than that. You can be very certain of the cards location when it is mailed and they give you a tracking #. Almost there :)

In my case it took 5 days after my approval to see that the card was ordered on my USCIS account and the tracking # for the card was provided. By the 7th day i received my card. 

 

Saw Approved message on 5/5

Got tracking number on 5/10

Received card on 5/12

Yes saw that.. perhaps his/her travel record (went to Germany 3 times in a year etc) could have lead to more time for his security check. 

Or may be just a lame excuse from USCIS..

Just came out of Indianapolis Field Office--an Infopass Appointment to see what's going on with me case. I was verbally approved/recommended for I-751 and N-400 on 3/28/2017, during the interview for both. The IO told me I should be receiving my oath ceremony letter within 60 days. Of course, that did not happen. Called customer service but those people are worthless--they give you laughable answers. Anyways, today the lady at the desk told me that my case is still in the field office and they're waiting on background check. My question is; does the background check come AFTER the interview and approval or BEFORE? This doesn't make any sense. Meanwhile I did receive the notice about my I-751 case being transferred to National Benefit Center earlier this month. That is contradictory since field office says they still have my case.  I am SOOOOOOOO CLUELESS about what the heck is going on in my case...

I'm getting a plain letter when I looked through USPS informed delivery. I think approval letter would have status of liberty in background which I don't see.

 

I had created a service request through a tier 2 officer recently must be an answer to that. Has anyone received approval letter but in plain format?
