Either way, i urge you not to worry (easier said i know) But worrying won't make it go any slower or faster. It is impossible to figure out exactly what goes on within USCIS on how they process cases. Many people after my NOA date were approved before me and i was stressed out and worried - for no reason might i add. This is the sad reality.

 

I say so long as your case has not updated requesting for evidence or interview from you. Its only a matter of time til Your case gets its turn.

 

I encourage you to stay positive! :)

There are various sites that you can find that will decipher the receipt numbers, but basically: Example: WAC 17 040 50011 WAC = CSC 17 = Fiscal year they received the case  - "17" Fisc

Approval of Green card, NOA Date Nov. 17, 2016!!! Woohoo! now on to N-400 and citizenship for my wife! Thanks to all for the support! Hopefully more to come!

After over a year of filing the I-751 my husband received the letter of approval. We were not asked to interview as we provided as much information as possible. No immigration officers at our house. F

no, I didn't apply for N-400. Yea just trying to stay positive (at least can work/travel) but feel down sometime the way USCIS handle things.

I changed my address yesterday and got an update today (5/23/18) that an RFE letter is coming my way.

 

Does anyone know if I can see the USCIS Letter in the online scans that the USPS sends when you signed up for those? Im worried the letter is gonna come to my old address.

I am on the same boat as well, Havent applied for N400 and case received at local office on feb 27 2018 and Mar 5 2018. Attended I 751 interview on Dec 20 2017 and received rfe on Dec 27 2017. Submitted rfe on Jan 16 2018 . since then no update infopass not that use full. Tier2 officer not giving much information.

Rfe was about IRS official transcripts even though we submited everything during the interview and application process. this is annoying and frustrating and stressful.

Thanks, nikki06. As soon as I saw this today at 5 am, VJ is the first place I came to announce it even before to my wife (she was still sleeping). All VJ posts have been so much help to me and hopefully everyone else waiting will get the good news soon. I have also attached all the updates I got and I havent applied N400 yet.

I got this message today on my wife's case .

New Card Is Being Produced

On May 24, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC1706100***, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

I got this on the case status site.

 

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

 

When I log into USCIS MY Account 

https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant

 

I still get the below message:

February 26, 2018

We received your case

You do not need to do anything at this time

We will begin processing your case and will review it to make sure you have submitted all of the required information and documents. We will let you know if we need anything else from you.

If you do not receive your notice by March 28, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

 

Is it safe to assume my case got approved?

Congrats you have been approved! Mine happened the exact same way you described above. Soon after both USCIS accounts will reflect approval and card produced/mailed status. :)

Awesome, thank you. How long after it said card being produced, did you get your greencard in the mail?

Exactly 7 days! Make sure you track it using the USPS tracking # that will be provided in your account!
