It happened for me today. I got an update on DHS saying they are producing my card!  After 38days waiting. I was thinking that they were gonna schedule an interview. Which would of been fine. But would of ment waiting even longer.

But God is good. Cant wait to have my shiny new card in my hands 😁😁😁😁😁😁💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

I'm so happy for you Val, congratulations!!!! it had to happen one day right??? lol

Today I sent in my N-400 package back to waiting again for me but it feels good to wait when you have your 10 year green card!! I'll see you at the N-400 thread if you decide to file for citizenship, congrats again👍👍

I did not ask the officer where the file was but on my DHS account it says it was transferred to another USCIS office for processing on July 5th. (RFE received by them on June 23rd). If yours is not transferred are you sure you need to interview? Maybe it gets approved without one?

Thanks forresponding. I actually just found out this morning it was approved. You too will be approved after you interview. Make sure you are prepared with original documents or certified copies available to hand the adjudicator. I will be routing for you. Good luck, you are going to be fine!!!

Hey Jamie,

When uscis was mailing your card did they give you a tracking number. If so how long after the "we approved you case" status did you get the tracking number. And too which website will that be on casetracker or DHS.

THANKS

Hello Val,

to respond your question I never got a tracking number from uscis but what I can tell you is that I received the card on the mail approximately 5 business days after I got the we are producing your card message, so based on my personal experience I can tell you that you'll be getting your card by either this Saturday or early next week!!!!

Please HELP ME!!!!!!

I applied I-751 November 2016 and it transferred to the local office on March 5th 2018.

I have waited about 21months but still haven't heard ANYTHING! No RFE, NO interview no nothing.. It makes me very frustrated and worried about it.

I submitted an outside processing time inquiry but all they sent was sorry for waiting and they didn't write about why it takes so long. I have been calling to USCIS and went to infopass but all they said was just wait.

I am so worried that they have lost my documents?? If they did lose them what should I do and how can I find out?

I heard that I can apply for the N400 but i don't have the temporary green card because I handed it out to obtain the stamp on my passport. On the N400 checklist I need the copy of front and back side of green card but since I don't have that i am not sure if it is a good idea to apply.

So I feel I am lost now. I don't know what to do. Any suggestion is welcome. Please share with me if you have similar situation.

It sounds like you are going to be in for a really long wait based on what you are saying. Since you are eligible for n400 I would apply and put your waiting time to good use. Submit it with a copy of your stamp and a letter of explanation why you do not have your actual card. They worst is they will issue an RFE when they start processing your n400 hopefully by then you will have heard from your i751 and If not you can submit a letter of explanation with a copy of the stamp and all your appointment paperwork. Also maybe once USCIS sees that youv applied for n400nit might cause movement on your i751 application ie. They transfer it to your local office or take some action on your case. All in all I would definitely apply for n400.

We had our I751 LOC interview today and clearly the officer had already decided we were fraudsters.

We were made to swear to tell the truth and the whole interview was recorded.

I sent in all income papers we had - we have simply 1 bank account and our SSA is paid into it.

Yet the officer asked for evidence of "income co-mingling" - so she clearly had not bothered to read what I sent!!!!

At the end the officer said she was leaning towards approval BUT she wanted to have more investigations

SO gave us a letter refusing to approve  and stating that we wold be subject to further investigation

and of course "they will let us know their decision..." (how nice of them to do that!)

We think the world has gone completely mad - we are a couple in our late 60s who are just taking in now my wife's 97.5 mother

So we will be her caregivers.

Somehow the officer decided that made us fraudsters and not a genuine couple - can anyone explain the logic of that?????

We are just dismayed and disgusted with the whole system - this after nearly 2 years since we submitted the LOC application.

Our only option now is to await the formal refusal letter and meanwhile get working on finding a place where we will be made welcome and not treated as thieves in the night .....

Truly a disgusting and thoroughly broken system....

Hey Bernie,

What a frustrating situation you are in. I'm sorry that you and your spouse have to go through all that!!!! But here is the good news in all of this, the more they investigate the more they will see how really your marriage is.

However with that being said, you have to remember. It is their job to prove your marriage is fraud, and its your job to prove your marriage is real.

With that said, if I were you and your spouse would roll up my sleeves and get ready for a fight. (If your case ends up being rejected you will have to go before judge) and it's better to be ready for a situation that might not happend, that unprepared for a situation that may happen.

You mentioned you guys have only got one bank account. Which is absolutely ok. I would print out every single bank statement with transactions for that account from since it was opened with both your names. Make photocopies all all bank cards or better keep all the original bank cards for that account. Futuremore I would get an original letter from the bank confirming how long it's been opened and you both authorized.

Also get a letter from SSA showing all distributions to the joint account for both of you and go as far back as you can.

Also start now getting Affidavits from EVERYONE that's knows about you as a couple. No just family....friends, doctors, lawyers etc.

Speaking of lawyers now may be a good time to consult with a few if not retain one for your case.

What other evidence do you have. I.E. Insurance? Health, cars, home, renter.

Wills (considering your ages I would get a will drawn up if you guys dont already have.)

POA for your mother in later showing both you and your wife as her leagal caregivers.

Large dollar purchases made jointly

Proof of vacations

And docs that show you as your spouse benny's and such.

Cell phone Bill's joint/ cable/utility

Remember the burden of proof is on you not on them. USCIS is not obligated to believe anything you say (even if it is true) unless you can prove it to be true.

Use your frustration to energize your application.

Goodluck to you and your spouse.

Thank you for your comments.

We have in fact already covered the points mentioned.

If necessary we will plead our case in person before a judge as we have nothing to hide.

We won't be hiring any expensive lawyer!

At the very start of this process we hired a lawyer and paid thousands of dollars

Just to have them send copies of letters already received by us!!!

We will either resolve this or go somewhere more welcoming!!!

Numerous cases got that update today. Might be a workload transfer to Nebraska, look for a physical letter in a mail.

What have you originally submitted?

A very ordinary I751 application with a lot of supporting evidence

so this is unknown...

Hi! I'm sorry I didn't update you guys on my status. I've been dealing with complicated personal issues for a long time and I just remembered I never let you know that I got my new green card a few months ago. (approximately on 05/15/2018). I'm sorry I didn't share that earlier. I really appreciate all you do. Thank you so much!
