Timeline For POE in Dublin and Social Security Application.

Hi everyone,

I'm considering buying an Aer Lingus flight and have just realised Dublin will be my point of entry to the US.

What are the pros and cons of this please?

How much time should I ensure I have between the flights?

SS Card- how do I go about applying for this please?

I'll be in the US for about 2weeks 23rd Dec to 6th of Jan. Will this be sufficient to apply for my Green Card?

Must I remain in the Country to receive it? Do I have to do anything on my departure?

What do you suggest are the things to bear in mind or do during this period?

Ps: Why are flights so expensive?

You are on a F-1 visa? A student visa they don't get GC....

Maybe you have your visa type wrong?

I have a resident visa via my US citizen dad. What sort of visa is that? It's F1 category right? I filed I-130 years ago.
