No, you didn't. You receive the NOA-1 by mail, and you receive notification of NOA-1 by email. Two different things.

That's the second super-fast I-129F approval that I have seen recently for the Dominican Republic.

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

Congrats to you and this approval time I've seen before. Certain countries are given speedy priority depending on the how things are there. For example persons from the DR or Haiti can get approved in less than month's time. There were a few ppl in my month's group this happened to. So congrats! Start preparing for the next steps:)

This is absolutely not the case. Please check DR page to see everyone elses wait time. My case took 114 days from NOA1 to NOA2.

My husbands interview was 8/19 and then took 32 days for visa issuance.

Nothing in this journey is an exact science OP got lucky run with it...but DR is not one month or less....TRUST ME :rolleyes:

USCIS approval times increase and decrease over the years and throughout the year but most countries follow their own trends.

Per VJ Timeline Statistics DR took on average 73 days for NOA 2 from the 1/1/2016 to 11/2/2016 (Present)

and only 25 days from NOA 1 to NOA 2 over the last 2 months from 8/31/2016 to 11/2/2016.

Again the figures above are based only upon what VJ members entered in their timeline.

So "MSLeJa" is actually correct as of the last few months.

I have seen people approved 8 days in my app when I checked my case...I had noa1 August 8th. went to app checked 100 case near by, saw couple approved on August 16th

I-129F sent August 6th 2016

NOA1 Received August 8th 2016

Approved October 11th 2016

Hard Copy NOA2 Received October 17th 2016

NVC Received October 25th 2016

NVC Case Assign October 26th 2016

Left NVC October 31st

Paid Visa Fees November 1st 2016
